Stopped in on our way through Carmel. Was looking for a good Mexican restaurant. Google reviews led us here. Verde did not... disappoint. Food was awesome. Chips and salsa were on point. Ordered a side of guacamole...very good. Had a variety of entreesand all were very good. Our waitress was great. Super friendly and took great care of us. We had 3 kids with us and she wasgreat with them. Atmosphere was very cool. Place was clean. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend. Read more
Nice change and alternative to the strip mall Mexican places. I did not love it but would probably try it again. Guacamole was... very good. With the fajitas it seemed there was a lightly seasoned grilled piece of chicken sliced up and put on some vegetablesthat were partially cooked. Typically the chicken has flavors from the onions and peppers it was cooked with if that was not thecase which was kind of weird. Moreover semi firm veggies were weird. It could be that I’m just a custom to something differentbut it seemed off. The atmosphere is good. The glasses that drinks come in are super cool! They may have heard one starthemselves! Read more
Wow! Such a fantastic experience! First off Michelle was such an amazing waitress. The food was incredible. All of it. We... had Ceviche as an appetizer. It was so fresh and a generous portion and came out with great presentation. But wow, the tacoswere delicious! Best al Pastor I have had in a long time. The Mole sauce was sweet, not at all bitter. They had octopus onthe menu and it worked so great in their tacos. My wife had tamales that were super fluffy. Plus the tequila list was veryextensive and appropriately priced. Between the service, the flavor, the portions, and the alcohol, Verde is easily the bestMexican food we have had in a LONG time! I highly recommend. Read more
Went for Mother’s Day lunch here. Love the ambience of this place. The staff is equally attentive and accommodating. We were... running late for our reservation but they kept our table for extra 20 mins. We ordered burritos, quesadillas ( vegetarian sndchicken) and tres leches cake. First time guests, party of four. We stayed with basic dishes. The Mexicano burrito was a wrap filled w grilled chicken, rice... , a bit of cheese, some veggie material . Served with a small cup of queso and interestingly a serving of French fries. Notthat we would have wanted it but no ketchup was available or offered. As a burrito served dry, the queso was necessary to addsome lubrication to the chew. The pollo con queso was as expected per one of our guests. The corn dish was crunchy with a bitof zest. The salad was fresh and flavorful. All in all Verde is able to hit the basics. Because the burritos ( our 4th guesthad the veggie burrito) were double wrapped in flour tortilla and not served wet which made for a dry chew and the odd side ofFrench fries resulted in the 3 star and not the 5 star review. Not that Chipotle can match the ambiance of Verde, a $15burrito smaller in size and some fries is not a good value. Speaking ambiance, the piped in music was overwhelmingly loud tothe extent we couldn't even hear each other when conversing . If LOUD music in a dining experience is your thing then this isthe place to be. The margaritas on the other hand were outstanding . Read more
Delicious food, cool ambiance, great quality. Ran into acquaintances that said they eat there all the time. We tried both new... and familiar dishes and all of them were impressive (and filling). Will go back again! Read more
All I can say is this place is phenomenal! I stopped in for lunch and was blown away by the food, arrive and amazing tequila... selection. If you want to enjoy real high end Mexican food, top shelf tequila while enjoying the great company of the peopleworking, come enjoy Verde! Read more
