Consistently one of the best experiences in the area. When they say fresh handmade pasta and sauces, they do they mean... it. This is a restaraunt that feel like it should be more expensive than it is. Incredible food, welcoming and kind staff,relaxed but not too quite atmosphere, and a VERY reasonable price point. Late lunch/early dinner table for 2 couples: 4appetizers 4 mains and waters all around. The bill was just under 45 dollars per couple before tip. Glass never got half emptyand the chef came out to check on us once we were finished. Would recommend 100% to anyone in the area. Read more
I was on a return trip to Pittsburgh where I still own a house. Needed a place to eat and this came up on yelp. The restaurant... has several rooms including a patio and a bar. Very nice and cozy. The staff was extremely friendly. I was able to have lunch onthe patio on a day that turned out to be sunny and I am so glad I came here. I ordered the gnocchi which was super light. Thesauce was a tasty marinara but I felt like it warranted a meat sauce instead of marinara for some additional density since thegnocchi was so deliciously light. The Caesar salad was excellent. We came here twice in 3 days time! Our server Ter(r?)i was awesome-she took the time to explain everything to us and the... details she provided for every bit of food she spoke of, had our mouths watering! I was not let down! The gnocchi were amazing!As were the linguine with pancetta-The coconut cream was amazing! I loved everything about this place the moment I walked in thedoor! Just tried LeoGreta for the first time and LOVED it!!! Beautiful setting, delicious food, and AH-MAZING service!!! The Burrata... was DELICIOUS!!!! We are excited to try new items and come again!! Drinks were fantastic! Great wine list and mixed drinks!! Read more
2nd group dinner at LeoGreta. First time we had +30 people. This time, +15. Both times we were able to use the upstairs with... bar. Family style menu selections are the way to go! Shout out to Chef/Owner Greg and his team - especially Angela and Liz whodid a wonderful job serving our needs... which included making certain that some of our "needier" New England based employees(KFC) had the exact beverage they oh so desired ????. We spent the afternoon in Pittsburgh, and stopped to have dinner at LeoGreta on our way home. Our server was very friendly,... knowledgeable, and efficient. She asked what I drank usually, and recommended the Sangria, which was very nice. She broughtout house made Italian bread with olive oil for dipping when she brought our drinks. We ordered the beans and greens for anappetizer,and it was delicious. My dinner however, was my favorite...Cavatelli with rapini and crumbled Italian sausage ;perfect ratio of the 3 ingredients topped with some grated Pecorino. The boyfriend ordered spaghetti with a meatball and pieceof Italian sausage, which he very much enjoyed as well. For dessert, he ordered the cheesecake topped with a blueberry compote,and I got the coconut cream pie, both of which were delightful !! The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. We did make a reservation for dinner since this is a popular restaurant. I... would highly recommend making a reservation because there were several people walking in expecting to be able to eat without areservation and they were unable to.
