Great date night spot! My wife and I came on a Thursday night for dinner. The ambiance is great, you've gotta get a spot on the... patio. We got a delicious lemonade cocktail and beer flight to start. Our app was the chili shrimp, a must! Lastly our entreswere the smash burger and the beef brisket, great choices. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. The beer was good. The highlight was the chicken milanesa sandwich my wife... ordered. The spices and seasoning on it were very well balanced. I had the Alter burger which had a nice char broil flavor butwas sadly over cooked. Read more
Alter Brewing and Kitchen is located on The Fox River with a great view as you eat. Today we visited while the snow was coming... down and we sat in their new cone shaped heated hut outside. It was exactly what we were looking for and can't wait to share itwith a larger group. Read more
We stopped by to get some food before a concert and were able to get seated right away even on a Friday night. Food was great... and prices are good for the amount of food you get. Beer also awesome. Food & beer was high quality & very tasty. Our group of 4 got Smash Burgers, Chicken Milanese, and Dijon Poached Chicken... Salad. Sampled a flight of four beer selections. Total with 20% tip was $90. A cool Fall evening, so we were inside but thisplace is big! A visit on a warm Summer day or night would be just about perfect. Their outdoor patio is AMAZING! Read more
