Edit: I should have been more specific but did not have time. Sushi did not taste quite right, some combination of non freshness... of the ingredients and preparation. Rubbery fish. Service was somewhat lacking especially on a weekday evening when it was notbusy. Drinks were also unremarkable compared to some of the other local area spots. Seemed like sushi chef was either a sub ornew hire, but just a guess. Prices felt higher than other, similarly upscale sushi places in the suburbs. Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent. Had the midori which was really good and... Flaming Hamachi. Cool vibe inside, the freshness of some of the ingredients lacked. For $21 a roll the whole thing should blowmy mind. Still overall good, will try again. Read more

Braised short rib was incredible! My wife and I have been wanting to go out and try this place for awhile and finally decided to... go and brought our 3 year old Friday night. The place was live, mixed crowd of couples and families. The interior is a reallycool vibe, we sat upstairs on the couches which was perfect so our son could roam around our table and hang comfortably. Theyhave big screen tvs that you can see from any table. The waiter was great, walked us through the menu, made some greatrecommendations. My wife got the Green Dragon roll and loved it. The service here is absolutely wonderful and welcoming. From the atmosphere to the perfectly plated dishes, it is phenomenal... from start to finish. Staff treats you like family and genuinely cares for each customer. If you run into any issues at allduring your visit management goes above and beyond to not only solve whatever issue is at hand, but to make sure your experienceis still wonderful at the same time. Very good! Great service — I believe our server was named Dylan. Nice selection of sushi, good beer, cocktail and... non-alcoholic options. We’ll certainly be back and will likely go heavier toward sushi rolls as opposed to their entree-typeofferings. Seven Spicy Ahi app and Raging Bull maki particularly great! Read more
I highly highly recommend this awesome place, tho it's a bit more expensive than Shinto in Naperville. I had the Volcano... signiture sushi roll, green roll & Yaki Udon all of which were Soooo Yummy, & it's not easy to amaze me due to my naturalinstincts to be Particular (just ask my bf lol) very Bougie vibe with the crystal chandaliers, modern cushion furnishing, darkthemed interior, very cool ???? excellent customer service also. i would come back again soon! Always been a fan of this spot. I'm local, and we have celebrated birthdays, anniversary, etc. Here. Good food, but... unfortunately last visit had an issue. My wife and I know wine. We are members of 3 wine clubs, and have been on countlesstastings in US, as well as foreign countries This only means we like good wine and don't want to overpay for it. Houseselection is overpriced and worst of all, my wife was served a wine which is not what she ordered and asked the server toreplace with the correct wine....it was exactly the same. I also ordered a different wine from the list, and it was the same. We both tried both and they were the same. I know recovery from covid shutdown is difficult but don't lie/cheat me. Verysad to leave this review of one of my fav local spots, but don't try to trick wine people with sub par wine that we are paying~15-20 a glass for.
