This place is horrible. Absolutely horrible since Judith and April left. That's why you always see McDonald's drive-thru pack... full. Can't wait till this place goes out of business. The food wasn't bad actually. What sucked was there was no ice at all. I wanted tea with ice but there was none. And my hubby... grabbed salt packets (we like a little st on our fries) bad decision. The salt was old, clumpy so yeah. Other than those issuesthe food was alright. Read more
This place literally has the worst service ever. It doesn?t even deserve 1 star. I?ve been waiting for 30 for just chicken... tenders and everyone else in here is complaining because their food isn?t coming out either. I?m never coming back here. Thelady in the picture was the worst cook ever. She was complaining about how there were ?too many customers? and getting annoyedwhen people were asking where their food was after waiting for almost an hour. Hardee's at Carolina Beach did a great job with the breakfast I ordered at the drive-through. I ordered a gravy biscuit, and... requested a slice of tomato to go with it. The biscuit was fresh, and golden and delicious. The gravy was hot and flavorful.And: I got one perfect slice of tomato. I was so pleased that I actually called the store to compliment the manager. Although this Hardee's seems slow sometimes the food is normally fresh and really good. I've never had an issue with messed up... orders and the staff is usually very friendly. You can go inside and eat now too which is nice. Read more
I have been eating from this Hardies for 20+ years. This is the worst hotdog I?ve ever gotten from there! There quality has... decreased a lot. The bun was hard as a rock. Who ever made Should?ve known the bun was no good because they couldn?t even pushthe hot dog into the bun! Read more
1st trip, I ordered chocolate milkshake. Honestly, I tried McDs first and the machine was down of course. Pulled in Hardee's... with hopes of getting a chocolate shake as I wasnt sure shakes are served. It was a longer wait than I expected but it is handscooped... well worth the wait! McDs will never serve me a chocolate shake as my business will be at Hardees. 2nd trip, insteadof my normal McDs fast lunch the next day, I opted for Hardees hot dog fries and a sweet tea. Everything was hot and freshexcept the tea as I ordered extra ice but it was fresh, very cold, and great. Excellent service both times. I am not sure if Ihave given a fast food restaurant 5 stars but Hardee's at Carolina Beach deserves it. Both times my order was accurate, bothtimes the staff was friendly, both times food and/ or beverage were fresh, what should have been hot was very hot and whatshould have been cold was cold.
