Service is not the best, took long to get our food and drinks. Let me just say Communication can go a long way. We went for a... night out, with friends. It was our first time going here and probably our last. As we are still eating they start coming up toeach table asking for a $20 fee PER PERSON to stay and watch a fight UFC/Boxing. Which we were unaware nor was our intention togo and see a fight. They didn't communicate anything when you walk in the door. Many people ended up closing their checks andleaving because just like us their intention was to have a nice night out. It was either you pay the $20/person and you get tostay and keep eating or you were basically rushed to leave. For the price they charge for the food and drinks we expected alittle more courtesy and communication. Wanted to support local restaurants around the area, but unfortunately the lack oftransparency and last minute communication isn't what we expected. I'd recommend going here any day but a Friday or the weekend,as I don't think the are equipped to handle a busy crowd. I also tried calling before hand a couple of times for the sake ofavoiding surprises, but no one ever picked up the phone either. Read more

VERY good food. Went there with a Groupon to try it out. Had a fish taco, skirt steak taco and al pastor taco because Iwasn't... too hungry. That was still too much food! The fish taco was my favorite. DEFINITELY going back and going to try the Chilerellenos. Read more

Went here on Wednesday night for dinner about 8pm. I walked in and stood there for a min before a customer told the employees... that I was standing there. The drinks were good, the chips were stale but the salsa was good. Food took a long time to comeout. I had the chicken enchiladas. The food looked good, but didn?t have any flavor whatsoever. If you only have a couple daysin town, don?t waste your time eating here. Read more

The food was delicious. They started me with chips, salsa, and a bean dip. I got the the fajitas witu an excellent presentation... served with black beans and rice (beans topped with pico added a nice flavor to it). The music and atmosphere was great i lovedtue decorations and music made the authentic experience. Prices have a wide range if you want a burger they have a few for 12dollars most foods sit between 17 to 25 dollars befor tax and for those who dont mind spending the mony the sea food menu lookspretty good and not to expensive for being seafood Read more

Holy Oysters Diablo! If you know me?you know I am a foodie and search the world everywhere for oysters! These oysters at El... Diablo in Carpentersville (the old Spotted Fox) are so refreshing. The shrimp on top of the oyster with a pico de gallo andfresh lime was a match made in heaven. Hey everyone go back to this location. Huge change around! The owner is wise and honestwith a bit of flair for what is creative and needed for our fun and food palate right here in our community. The food I promiseis Las Vegas style! We finally have a creative restaurant that everyone will love and a bar that?s open till 4am. Welcome ElDiablo (next to Springhill Mall) I support you 1000 percent! Your friend Wendy Gross. I support you Marwan. You got this! Xo Read more

Overall, big meh. Service was really good, atmosphere is nice, but food is just ok. It's not bad, it's not great. I ordered the... tipsy burger, tastes like a frozen burger patty on a tough previously frozen pretzel bun. Fries are as average as you can be.Negatives, while we were there I listened to someone (manager, owner, I don't know) chastise servers "You don't EVER go in thekitchen, you need sour cream, salsa, whatever, you CHARGE for it" then repeated this about 3 more times. Also the menu says of aDJ or live band is there water costs $2.50. Water. What? Read more
