Very bland food. Ordered the chicken nachos and taco. Chicken seasoning was not very good, chips tasted like they came out of a... cheap store bought bag, the "spicy salsa" they gave me was basically tobasco sauce. I guess I should've expected that from a"Mexican" food restaurant in North Carolina. Later that night I found a taco truck down the street called "Dona Lilia's" whichwas excellent authentic Mexican food truck style eats. Torta was great! My friend got the veggie burrito and another friend gotcarne asada tacos and we all loved our food from the truck. Go there instead of the sub par Armadillo. Read more

Use to love this place , every time we hit Carrboro we would stop by and eat . Went in over the weekend for the game and to eat... . They use to have a salsa bar for your food , for free . When I asked about some salsa for my food , I was told it went awayduring the covid days , but now you had to pay for salsa . Trust me I know things cost more , trust me I am paying more for thefood , but the little things like a small gallop of salsa , will make me take my hard earned cash somewhere else . Moes has puttheir salsa bar back out for FREE ........ Read more

Everything tastes like it came out of a can, bland and not seasoned. Staff was nice, but that?s about it.

A great place for a casual, quick lunch. Nachos are great and plenty for two or even three. I had a bowl of chili as well... which is packed with meat. Not your typically chili. There almost so much meat in this chili you need a knife to cut it. Itwasn't to spicy but had alot of flavor and was well seasoned. Definitely a hefty meal. The downside was the size of the salsathey sold. They offer a $.35 option which is about 2 ounces of sals or a larger service for ~$3.50 but it about a pint ofsalsa. Nothing in between. I started with the small and then after two chips worth of salsa went for the larger option. Thesalsa was very good and not spicy at all. Read more

Typical tex mex fare in a very casual setting. The queso is excellent and the salsa or hot sauce bar is a nice touch.
