My God oh my God, you have to try the garlic double steak burger it needs to be on everybody's bucket list!!! Make sure to wash... it down with a nice cool glass of ice water with a lemon as not to fill up the space required for the follow-up Reese's peanutbutter cup milkshake. My family of 4 went here for the 1st time. There's no posted health rating. I thought that was a law here. I should've taken... their lack of posting their health rating as a sign to leave. The most positive thing I can say is, now that we've been here, weknow never to return. The smell of old oil/ grease was overwhelming and made my daughter feel ill. The food was terrible and theservice even worse. Clear as day on the children's menu it states "mini corn dogs", which my daughter ordered. The waitresstreated her like she was a special kind of stupid stating, "there's no corn dogs here. We don't even make those here." Iquickly spoke up and pointed it out on the menu. She said, "well those were removed from the menu a long time ago." Irritated, Isaid, "you may have removed them from your kitchen, but you didn't remove them from the menu, because here they are, stilllisted." The whole experience was terrible. I will never go there again. Their fries taste like cardboard and they never season their fries. I could care less about how... skinny they are, they just need flavor. And then the burger I ordered was so greasy. I never had a burger that was that greasy.Even the bun had grease all over it. I use to love going to Steak N Shake. I received a family dinner coupon from my last visit and was expecting to make use of it for my children and I, family of 4. I... asked the waitress once we walked in if I could order from the under $4 menu and the classic milkshakes to honor my coupon,which was $19.99 + tax. The waitress said I would have to wait until checkout. While dining in and searching the menu for thecoupon options, there were none. So, I asked the waitress again, where are the options for the under $4 menu? She stated theoptions verbally and that's what I ordered from. Upon checkout, I handed her the coupon, which expires 12/2022. She stated thatour meal choice could not honor the coupon and ended up paying double for our dinner, which I had not budget for. I did notleave a tip because the waitress was not helpful in clarifying the coupon options or how to honor it. We were served last after2 party's entered after us and our table could have been cleaned prior to seating us. Fantastic experience! All of the Steak ? Shakes back home in Pittsburgh closed down a while ago so while on vacation visiting... friends in Carrollton, we decided to stop in on a whim. We were immediately seated and quickly taken care of by Julia and hercolleagues. 10/10 would recommend! Read more
AWFUL SERVICE!!! Went through the drive thru tonight and order 2 shakes for almost $11. Paid, and, as the girl hands us our... shakes, she tells us they ran out of shake lids so we don't get whipped cream. We ask for an extra cherry each. She tells usto have a good night and shuts the window in our face. There wasn't even the cherry we were owed in our shakes to beginwith. So, I get home and call about it, very politely. The entire time I'm explaining the situation, the girl on the phonekeeps sighing from frustration. She tells me "Well, the person you dealt with is the manager." I just hung up at that point. This Steak n Shake Is filthy and run down. It smells like old mop water, we should have turned and left but we stayed. As you... can see the place is dirty. The staff is so lazy they can?t even lift the condiment trivet to clean. Really don?t have anythinggood to say about the wait staff either. The chili was so salty it was inedible. This is the first time I ever had a bad bowl ofchili from a Steak n Shake. This location has really went down hill. Read more
This store is making an amazing turn around. They have listened to your reviews. I frequent many Steak N Shakes and this one is... by far the cleanest. They had friendly, fast service. Sarah was our server and super sweet. I met Glomar in the ladies roommaking it spotless. She also was very friendly and accommodating and answered several questions I had in regards to thislocation.
