Best tofu house in town so far. Also 10 delicious side dishes, a rare treat these days. It's very uncommon to say the rice... itself is delicious but I mean it. The rice seems to be cooked in individual bows, nicely done. Plus superb services. Highlyrecommend. Read more
We ordered takeout and even after taking these deliciousness home they did not disappoint. The mackerel was fried to perfection... and not dry and extremely flavourful. The tofu soap was good even after it turned cold a few hours later. The seafood pancakethough, not as sublime as the one from Maht Gaek. However, we have to give five stars because the variety of side dishes thatcame with our takeout. Couldn't wait to finish them all. I'm so glad K Market will open soon so I can visit Chanmaru again totry their other dishes! Read more
There is this lady who is always so kind and caring for me whenever I visit. Maybe I it?s because I go here by myself haha but... the food is great. The price is very reasonable in my opinion considering all the side dishes you get. Read more
The Army Soup was delicious, the sausage in it is very tasty - definitely get ramyun added! Sides are a great variety here. Cold... noodles were great on a hot summer day, with added vinegar. Bulgogi was good but not stellar. Read more
This is such a hidden gem. My fiancé & I ordered the squid bokkeum, galbi, & soontofu. While waiting for the entrees, they... brought out the banchan (side dishes). My Korean friend took us there for dinner. The tofu soup is really authentic. It came with steam rice that was super good. It?s... my very first time to have an individual steam pot rice come with with soontofu (tofu soup). We also order seafood pancake thatis very good too. Their Korean side dishes has many different kind as well. I am very impressed their spicy achoy, kimchi thattasted very fresh. We will definitely come back again! Read more
I?d give it 1star if it wasn?t for the kind waitress. I ordered the Daeji Galbi(pork ribs) and Galbi Dolsot Bibimbap. The daeji... galbi was RAW?. When I first saw the pink on the bone and asked the waitress to check with the chef, the chef replied that?usually the meat near the bone is pink??.. I?ve never seen the pink at other restaurants?. Then I took a bite out of adifferent piece and it?s half cooked?. Can?t lie to customers like that especially when you?re harming our health. The waitressapologized and took the daeji galbi off the check, but of course I get food poisoning after eating uncooked pork. I?m not goingto file any kind of report but PLEASE make sure you review your food quality again especially when you cook pork?.. The galbidol sot bibimbap was nothing special and the beef didn?t taste like quality?. I liked our waitress because she was very kind andhardworking, but service was REALLY SLOW because they are clearly understaffed. Only 2servers in a packed restaurant is not goodmanagement. After my experience today, I am sad to say that I do not want to give this restaurant a second chance. There?s noreason to go when food quality isn?t good, overpriced menu, and there?s a risk of food poisoning. I hope other customers willhave better experience. Read more
