I usually get the shrimp fried rice twice a month from from different hibachi restaurants. I usually pay premium to get shrimp... fried rice from hibachi place instead of Chinese place because I expect bigger shrimp and better quality. I was totallydisappointed what I got for $17.50 +1.50 tip. The shrimps were the tiny cheap ones, fried rice smelled and tasted burnt. Willnot return. Read more

Let me start by saying the food was great, the service was horrible!!!! I Took my daughter and two grandchildren (2,3) we were... taken to a grill and believe me when I say we were there 35 mi I gofrom beginning to when we walked out. The waiter took ourdrink order and we never seen him again until he brought bill. No drinks were refilled (back to this in moment) so the chef cameto cook our food and we thought do a show…no…. One little fire when he cleaned the grill and an onion volcano. THATS ITS! Mygrandkids watched other tables. Our rolls did not even make it to our table until we we’re almost finished with our meal. Sonow back to my problem and the waiter….. I have no problem paying prices for good food, however I do have a problem when I seemy ticket and they had added a $23 gratuity. I tip for the service I receive everyplace I go, I GUESS WHEN YOU AUTOMATICALLY AREGOO G TO ADD IT TO THE TICKET, YOU DONT HAVE TO CHECK ON YOUR CUSTOMERS. And by the way, my grandkids ate rice off our platesand my bill was $145.00 dollars. Read more

I am normally very harsh on restaurants. I immediately look at cleanliness and decor. Then always pay attention to service as... well as ordering and placement. This place checked all the boxes well. Absolutely amazing. No joke. Very clean. Check Serviceoutstanding. Check Taste great. Check Price reasonable. Check Definitely a go to if you are in the area. Read more

This place is half hibachi grill, half sushi bar. My review is solely of the sushi side, which has been a fantastic experience... each time. I promise I'll try the hibachi side... next time. It was pretty busy when we arrived, and most were families for thehibachi side. The hostess was also our server so she was really working the whole floor and doing so with a pleasant energy &smile (you could easily tell, even under her mask). After selecting multiple items from multiple menus, while stillcontemplating the ramifications of ordering more, a gentleman stopped by with our drinks. Nigori and Sapporo, party started!???? I think we were the most lively table in there, but it is a nice atmosphere... even without us there. We laughed & jokedwith the staff, and then our house salads arrived, gifting the other diners with a few moments of silence while we chewed &moaned like cattle grazing. Next time, I will order two house salads for myself. Appetizers for the evening included the MonkeyBall, an absolute go to favorite. So. Good. We also got fried Goyza, chicken yakitori, shrimp yakitori. All were amazing...protip; don't neglect the sauce that drips off the yakitori & hangs out on the plate. ???? We finished off with the Sunset roll, which was good...kinda vanilla. The Texas Ranger Roll came to bat though & knocked it out of the park. Round the bases, andbring it home! Damn, that's a good roll. Little spice, lots of flavor. A great dining experience, made even better when ourserver brought us a farewell shot each of Nigori, which cements my opinion of her awesomeness. Great time, every time here atMasu. UPDATE: Today on a return visit, everything was still amazing as usual. However, we again ordered the sunset roll & thistime it had a good amount of spice & was rather good compared to the previous visit. We also ordered the paradise roll & thispaid with the sunset roll was an absolute flavor bomb. Nice heat from the sunset roll is excellently complimented b Read more

The food quality was great and the chef did the usual things you do at a hibachi restaurants. $83 including tip for 2 people... with 2 item combo each. I was a tad taken aback by the $2.50 per person charge for fried rice… overall, I’m not sure it wasworth what we paid for just lunch on a Sunday. Read more

I paid for extra egg and as you can see, I didn’t get it. The beef and chicken were dry. It was seasoned good, but that’s... about it. I didn’t eat it all. I have no plans on returning. Read more

It was my mom and brother’s first time having hibachi and they loved it. The food was really good and the service was really... fast. They are also willing to accommodate and take reservations if you call ahead. I had the shrimp fried rice with steak andchicken. It was a huge portion even to be the lunch special. This was my first time trying the melon saki, which was reallytasty as well. I will be back. Also, they add a gratuity to a party 6 of more, but they do advise you of this before you pay. Read more

A hidden jewel. My family and I ran across this spot when looking for somewhere to have a hibachi dinner. We normally frequent... larger chains but we decided to give a smaller business a go. And I’ve been back twice since my initial time 2 weeks ago! lolneedless to say, the sushi rolls as well as the hibachi is amazing! Now for the food… Had the standard salad (I never eat)and miso soup, so yummy. I also shared the Lewisville crunch roll with my sisters, it was also soooo good! For my entree I hadthe NY Strip cooked medium with shrimp! Extra garlic butter on rice and extra veggies. Don’t forget the yum yum sauce! So wellworth it. 5 stars! Read more
