This place was a sendoff BBQ gathering for a young talented friend of ours pursuing a military career in the USMC, and bunch of... us showed up for a time of fellowship in a restaurant best described as a self-serving, meat buffet of grilled marinated Asianfood!\n\nMoodaepo is worth your visit if you just want to impress your guests or visitors. However, on a scale from one tofive, where five stars represents a dining place for regular, returning customers...this place is a four.\n\nGreat Place! Myonly negative comment is that Moodaepo is fairly new. It\'s my first time being here and it was incredibly packed to the brimduring our Sunday dinner and this location was severely understaffed so that effected our drink and food times.\n\nThe humanservers were really nice, but my family and I had no clue what their names were because our attention was on these autonomousrobot servers that looked like a moving bookshelf with wheels. Both servers delivered our food and you can tell the differencebetween the two, one was nice pretty cool and the other was terrifying for our little kids.\n\nEven with this customer service,I don\'t think they would be sufficient enough on intensely busy evenings, For instance on a Sunday Night Football game duringthe regular season. Forget trying to get a seat here because the wait time was bad. I would probably visit on a non-busyweekday.\n\nOther than that, foods decent but the ambience is great! Its like entering an open air street market in an enclosedspace. There was a drink station, dessert place, and I guess a butcher shop lined up on one side, while the dining area hastables with a gas grill built in the center of each table top. Decided to come eat here with friends. We arrived around 5pm and it was not busy at all. However, about an hour later all the... tables were full. We decided to do all you can eat. The meat quality is good but the flavor not as flavor-able. They only allow4 choice of meat per round which was fine. We didn?t do round two because there were plenty of meat. The staffs were very nice.They also have a ramen machine which I thought was pretty cool. I would definitely return here to hang out with friends. Read more
Was worried about 3 star reviews @ 80 count. Seems service was the culprit like my beloved Manna so I would try them anyway.... (servers were working hard). ANY time I flagged anyone down.. they were on it!!! Cuts, drink, anything we ask for came superfast... manager checked on us a couple time..\nQuality was there as I had #12 on repeat ???? I?m from out of town. This place is the best so far. Amazing robot lolz. I think Over 10 or all the servers working together... serving all of us. Fast and quick. Food is great. Vibes is relaxing. The music .. chilling .. etc everything is nice! Read more
Previously, whenever guests visited from out of town, I always took them to Gen. Well that definitely changed today after a... fantastic dinner at Moodaepo. Maybe things were rocky during their soft openings/first few days (they literally officiallyopened this Monday!) but everyone was on top of it when my party of three went today.\n\nService: AMAZING, despite beingshort-staffed. We went on Thurs evening and it was pretty busy but at least two servers consistently asked for our orders (evenwhen we weren\'t ready to order more meat!) and they always made sure to change our grill pan in a timely manner.\n\nFood:Portions were more than enough for our party of three. They had a nice variety of meat (even rarer dishes like chicken feet,small AND large intestines, squid, and octopus). The other meat was also well marinated and tasted distinct (I\'m Korean andhonestly at Gen all the meat taste very similar to each other?). Side dishes were fresh and good quality, and I\'m picky aboutmy kimchi.\n\nThe vibes: immaculate. They had a nice playlist with all my fave kpop girl group power anthems (g-idle, aespa,twice, mamamoo, and of course blackpink.) My friends and I were buzzing from the upbeat music.\n\nWatermelon soju: A+; it was anice thing to share at the table. They even had a Korean popsicle inside the watermelon that reminded me of my summers inKorea.\n\nRamen bar: I personally didn\'t eat any because I prefer to fill myself up with meat but it was very clean andaccessible. When my partner did need help, a server went out of his way to help him use it.\n\nIf I\'m being picky I\'d say myonly complaint is that the doenjangjjigae didn\'t have enough doenjang in it but it was still good and is better than what Genusually has.\n\nA++; will definitely come here again. Great food comes with great ambience! It?s our first time to be here, my family and I had ordered Bibimbap and Galbi rice set.... I highly recommend this restaurant. The meats are very flavourful and quality on all the sides were excellent. The vibe of the... restaurant was unexpected from the outside (don\'t judge a book by its cover on this place). And to top it off,\nthe customerservice was excellent and very attentive.
