Don't trust one-star reviews from people who have malicious motivations or have zero clue what this type of food should look... like or taste like; Josh's food is great!! Chicken had a superb flavour and texture, rice and beans were cooked just right,plantain was nice and crisp, and all flavours were subtle but proper, allowing the ingredients to shine through instead of beinghidden. There's just no way someone could be disappointed eating there. The chicken is 100% legit and you get your money's worth. By... the way, the inside of the chicken is pink not because it is still raw but because that's what happen when you smoke meat for along time. It's normal and safe. From their rice and peas, coleslaw, plantain chips and veggie burgers. They bring a little of the island vibe andflavour to PEC! A must visit if you?re ever passing through the county. Found this place while driving by on a Friday while visiting the PEC and we knew we had to stop by on our way home. The smell... was delicious! Honestly, had one of the best jerk chickens! I had the mild sweet BBQ chicken and it came with plantain chips,coleslaw and rice. Everything was super flavourful and he gave such a generous amount. Since I live in the GTA, if I ever comeby I'm stopping by since this place is really close to the 401. He takes debit and credit card here as well as cash and there'sa small place to dine outside. Wow, my wife and I picked up a half chicken order and brought it home to enjoy. The last time I had jerk chicken this good was... 13 years ago in Montego Bay on our anniversary. I wish I knew about this place earlier in the season. The chicken was very goodand juicy. I didn't need my knife to eat just my fork for the rice and coleslaw. will definitely be back as the lunch which alsoincluded rice, coleslaw and plantains. Read more
