This place is decorated very nicely and has a really warm atmosphere. Staff were busy and their attitudes made them seem almost... bothered. Our waitress tried to joke with us but, the delivery was muttered and came off insulting rather than funny. Igenuinely believe she was joking, it just came off really weird. The food was...below average diner fare. The spaghetti wassoggy and wet. The sauce was uninspired and the meat dishes we had were poorly seasoned and had a weird taste. I think we mayhave ordered poorly, as other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals. We may give them another try, the next time we take alate lunch in Carson City. Read more

This evening , Thursday , October 13th at 9:00 pm my husband and I went to have some dinner and dine in at Betsy?s . My husband... ordered spaghetti for me and chicken Parmesan for himself . The salads were arriving as I was returning from the restroom . Thewaitress serving us obviously had seniority and my guess is that she has been employed with them for a long time . She did somesort of inappropriate gesture to my husband that I happened to see just as I was being seated . ( he had seated without me whileI used bathroom ) She noticed me and quickly changed her demeanor and body language. I understand my husband is a very handsomeman . But what I don?t understand is why she took our order but failed to place it with the cooks . My husband and I wereliterally the only customers in the restaurant . After eating our salads and waiting for approximately a half hour , thewaitress came to our table and said , ? Oops , I made a boo boo . I forgot to give the ticket to the cooks . Oops , I made amess up . ? the tone of her voice was one that could be described as sarcastic baby talk . It was obvious to me that she waswanting nothing but trouble . Seriously . So , as of now , since the order was cancelled due to the time in which Betsy's closed; my husband and I are home - we ultimately had lettuce , ranch , and a few croutons for dinner . We work hard all day and justwanted a simple dinner . And we got everything except for what was on the menu . I wouldn?t suggest that cafe to anybody thatwanted a decent honest dinner at a good value , because you won?t find it at Betsy?s Cafe on a Thursday night . Not with thattype of service . I really try to avoid negative reviews , but this is something that should be aired on the side of caution . Read more
Great breakfasts...omelet made to order. Bacon and eggs, delicious breakfast sandwich....try it with scrambled eggs..yum. Hash... browns could have been a little crisper. Great prices on specials! Read more

Betsy's big kitchen is a diner, the food was made to order, our waitress had just started a couple days ago and was very well... trained and prepared for her job. The restaurant is clean and well managed and the booth we sat in as well. I will go back evenif I have to drive from home!!! Thank you!!!!! Read more
