The new location was difficult for me to find..Google Maps seems to be confused on just where the FoI is now. I arrived so late... that I had to order as take out, which was fine. She, the owner I guess was so gracious and sweet. The dining area is large andopen, not offering much in the way of privacy or intimacy but is clean, bright, and again 'she' is an absolute darling. Iordered my all time fave, Chicken Tika Masala with medium heat. It was delicious, maybe not the absolute best I've ever had butVery delicious. Price is a little higher than I expected but delicious and once Again the service and speed of preparation wasbeyond expectations. The only downside (besides not being able to Find it) was the temperature of the dining area...BRRR...I wasfreezing. Today I added a little heavy cream to the leftover ???? and by gosh I think the day after was even tastier than lastnight. I was pleased and will definitely visit again ????..must try the homemade mango ice cream! I very much appreciate themstaying to accommodate me despite my tardy arrival. Read more
We like the indian vegetarian and meat dishes equally. They taste fantastic. Dolly seasons your selection to your liking. We're... so fortunate to have her and her restaurant in Carson!! Read more
First time there. 4 of us shared several dishes so we could sample a little bit of everything. Ordered everything "medium" spice... levels. Most were perfect; a couple a bit too hot for me. All dishes come in what I thought were small bowls, but we all leftsatisfied. Staff was super nice and added to the experience. Would go back again to enjoy the Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Marsalaand Chicken Korma. Read more
Dolly's cuisine is the best! I highly recommend Flavors of India. I've been a fan of Dolly's for a long time. I am a big fan of... her butter chicken, her rice dessert that's out of this world, and much more. I also love her commitment to Carson City. Dollydonates to the schools and loves to support the community. I also recently attended her parking lot event, the "Holi Festival."It was huge, huge fun and a large happy crowd attended. We covered each other in chalky color until we were all coated in it.I've never been part of a Holi Festival. I'd only seen it on Hollywood movies. What a blast! She has more fun events for thecommunity that she's planned. Definitely worth checking out her restaurant and speak with Dolly! You'll meet an angel on earthwith a heart and a passion for providing delicious dishes for her customers. Read more
Worst service ever! We did not feel respected or welcomed. 1. There were many empty tables, but the lady at the desk claimed... they only take reservations and made us wait for 15 minutes. 2. Then she asks if we need a menu. Who does that? How the hell arewe supposed to order food without a menu?? That was highly disrespectful. 3. The demeanour and tone of the lady was dismissing,arrogant and disrespectful to say the least. Overall the experience was terrible. Indian saying goes "Athithi devo bhava".Bring an Indian, it is upsetting to see restaurants like these that are representative of Indian food and culture, treat Indiancustomers so pathetically. Wonderful food as always. Friendly staff and owner. Today was a Holi Color festival and free to the public. Fun day.
My first time here and it was so good. I ordered a chicken dish w a tamarind chutney and I will be back soon. The garlic naan... bread was the best. This owner is a blessing to our community and I will be at the Festival of Colors Saturday to support hervision! Bring the kids and the seniors too it will be so fun! Read more
Our school has had some wonderful trips to enjoy Daljit (Dolly) and share her wonderful Indian cuisine, culture, language, and... so much more. What a gift she is to the community. And the food is just the best. Try the mango mushrooms! Read more
