Food is always great, comes out fast and is always hot. Unfortunately if you get there at or after 7pm you must order the food... to go which isn't a problem because the presentation is awesome, they put the noodles, meat and veggies in a separate containerand the soup in its own containers. Driving from Carson to our house the food stayed hot. I don?t mind that they don't check onus when we eat in but to others that may be an issue so take that with a grain of salt. Definitely recommend this place for somegood Pho, not quite what I could get overseas but worth every penny out here in the desert. Read more
They have recently been announcing that the dining room closes at 7pm with take out available from 7-8pm. Tonight when I arrived... at 6:30 the dining room was nearly empty. They told me if I wanted dine in I would have to take a table on the screen porch.Windows wide open. Air quality dangerous for those with sensitive conditions. Street noise from busy Carson Street precludes anysemblance of conversation among diners seated in that porch. Attitude from staff was ?take it or leave it? we aren?t going toallow anyone into the dining room. We will not be returning to this place which in the past has been a monthly or even twicemonthly date night for us. Read more
Pho broth is warm. It needs to be HOT! Also, I'd rate the taste of their broth a 4/10. If you think their pho is good, you're... missing out. I hate to play the race card, but I'm Asian. 2 older white males were seated after me and they both got their foodout first. A Mexican couple and I were seated in the outside patio with cold wind blowing through the open windows. Minoritymoney does not seem good enough here. One of the older white males cut me in line to pay for their food. Once he finishedpaying, the cashier left to go seat new guests and left me standing there for 5 minutes. Pho Country is excellent Vietnamese food with a very extensive menu. To get everything on one page they had to make it a very... small font so bring your reading glasses! Our lunch was excellent! Service was great too, Frank has that entire menu with thecorresponding number memorized! Read more
I placed an order to go of the hot and sour soup with rice, the number 27 pho for my brother, and 137 the schezwan chicken. The... hot and sour soup didn?t seem like normal hot and sour soup, and was spicier than normal expected. My brother said the pho wasalright for price but not good at all and broth plain and the meatballs were not home made. The schezwan chicken came more likesweat and sour chicken in a very plain type of sauce with barely any meat and all vegetables. Broccoli, baby corn, bok choy,mushrooms, water Chesnut. I ordered schezwan chicken not a stir fry. I called to bring this up they told me to bring it back tomake it right. I drove all the way back they, said they would fix it. So I sat down in the corner to wait then 5 minutes laterthey bring me out the same plate saying that?s how there schezwan chicken is. Delicious food and friendly fast service! We ordered spring rolls, a clay pot and a noodle dish. Everything was speedy, fresh... and tasty! A small dining room, I imagine it could get packed during rush hour. Great take out too! Read more
This is my second time coming to this place. We were seated promptly upon entering. The employee was nice. We ordered a... couple items. Everything was almost all good. My only issue was the rice that came with my order. It was a bit hard and dry. Iwould come again by probably opt to ordering soup. Read more
