The most memorable part if the experience was the lovely server who helped take care of us. Super friendly and very helpful. The... food was excellent and portions generous. This diner style restaurant is busy and filled with local return guests. We willdefinitely join that group! Read more

This was my first time going and a last minute decision. My coworker who went with me goes there a lot. I didn't have time to... study the menu online and I think I took a little too long reading it because the waitress was short with me. It's just a fulland descriptive menu and I wanted to get familiar with it. It couldn't have been too much more than 5 minutes. I ended up goingwith something usual. I wanted to try something specific to the restaurant or a favorite but didn't feel comfortable askingunder the circumstances. But the food was excellent. I gave 3 stars because I have mixed emotions about the experience and vibe. Not because of the food. I recommend reading the menu online and deciding what you want before you go. I'm not sure if I will goback. It might be better as a takeout option. Read more

The absolute WORST biscuits & gravy I've ever had. Gravy is yellow? And tastes like oil and grease. Ordered a short stack(2) of... very average pancakes. Total price: $24.64 NOT INCLUDING TIP. I literally got robbed. I guess even restaurants are turning tocrime in these trying times. Read more

The food here knocked my socks off! It was delicious!!!!!! Not to miss is the homemade gravy - unlike any other and good... enough to drink! It can be added to any dish. Ordered a veggie omelette with their famous chorizo. Veggies were cooked tilltender, eggs were fluffy and the chorizo was the flavorful but not greasy. I usually don?t order chorizo as it is usuallyoverly wet with grease - ordered it as I was told this was a dry chorizo. Yep! It was super yummy!!!! Was thoroughly impressedwith the meat counter that contained all the many different homemade chorizos and sausages. Traveling through Reno so not ableto buy but I would if I lived in the same town as this Cafe. Excellent food and super friendly wait staff - manager even cameout to visit with our party! Read more

Delicious handmade chorizo, plus you can buy fresh chorizo by the pound to cook at home.
