We spent the day in Cartersville and stopped by this place since they had shaded outside seating and some gluten free menu... items. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I got the Rice Noodles. Fantastic flavor andgreat portion. We definitely will be back! Read more
I love Table 20 and have many positive memories here! In 2019 we had our rehearsal dinner there and it was **perfect.** they did... an amazing job. Food is unique and menu is creative. Staff is warm and friendly. I really like the family style meals theystarted during the pandemic! In recent years the new chef— food is a bit too heavy and unbalanced. Too much fat, grease,sauce, salt. I know it’s what the locals say they want, but it’s just not the high caliber it used to be. I would like tosee some more green on the plate and a balanced dish instead of just salt and seasoning heavy. Read more
Anniversary dinner with the hubs. To start - the popcorn (vs. bread) is addictive. The steak and shrimp were both excellent -... well cooked to our preferred temps. Some of the sides may have been a bit heavy on seasoning and butter, but still well preparedand complimented the steak nicely. The sweet treat chocolate was super rich, but perfect. Our reservations were set for 7:30 on a Saturday we arrived on time and was seated immediately.I ordered the Surf And Turf my... hubs ordered the Steak and 2 sides.About 10 minutes after placing our orders the waiter came back to our table to tell me theyran out of the hanger steak which that's the steak that comes with their surf and turf my response was so you're telling me Ican only get the surf and not the turf,he then proceeds to tell me well you can get the other steak that comes with the Steakand 2 sides for a 10 dollar upcharge.I could not believe what I just heard you all ran out of an menu item that's part of a mealbut I would have to pay more in order to get the meal I ordered.I was not a happy camper after that.The waiter comes back to ourtable 10 minutes later and says oh we have 1 more hanger steak that's on the grill so now you don't have to pay the upcharge,Iwas over it at this time my husband asked how this 1 steak all of sudden appeared the explanation was the lady seated behind meordered 2 steaks and we have 1 left made no sense whatsoever.Our food arrived to our table at 8:30 way to long consideringreservations were set for 7:30.The food was good my service not so good. The food was great! The server kept drinks filled regularly. I had the Apple pie salad with grilled chicken. The only caveat I... had was how dark it felt in the restaurant. Everything is painted in dark colors and I enjoy establishments with color andbrighter art. Very clean restaurant though! I’d go back and try other menu items. Read more
The daily special was awesome. Subtle and very flavorful bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. Hint of sweetness, fresh carrots and the... broth mix together perfectly. The hand cut french fries were perfect too. Just the right amount of service and the sweet isjust at the right sweetness to leave some tea flavor available. Overall great place. I dont have much bad to say about this place so i will start with that. We were sat at the booth closest to the bathroom( which... was not a big deal you dont really notice the restrooms) what i hated and i mean hated was the booth its self. It was souncomfortable. It was built like a Macdonald were it forces you foward and within ten minutes my back was hurting. Just veryuncomfortable, beware of that booth dont know about the others but when i go back i will ask for a table.Other than that wereally enjoyed this place. First they gave us house popcorn, never had that before. Instead of bread you get popcorn. I thoughtthis was cool and unique. Only downside was it was a little stale. We started with the truffle fries. I could have just ate themall night. Incredible flavor. I got a half order of the fried chicken, it was great overall, a little uneven on the fry. Thehoney butter put on top was incredible. The mash potatoes were really good and the corn on the cob had great flavor. My wife gotthe surf and turf with a side of mushrooms. She was not a fan of the mushrooms. I hate mushrooms so I can't say much for them. Idid try the steak and shrimp. The steak was cooked to perfection and was so flavourful. But guys... guys... the shrimp stole thewhole show. It was so freaking good. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Honestly if I went back I would just getthe fries and the shrimp. Everything was amazing but those two things were so amazing. The price was okay i did not leavefeeling like I was ripped off.
