I?m always disappointed to see how the people working discount the importance of their attitudes. The people working are almost... always grumpy and rude. Gena, was especially rude, spoke with a snotty tone, and acted like I was inconveniencing her to do herjob. The food is the ultimate victim in that all of the workers hateful energy gets channeled into the food. They used the loafof bread that I was being served to close the door handle of the bread holder. The sandwich was mashed, the meat was laid out onthe dirty work surface, the cheese was literally thrown down the line, and the sandwich was wrapped upside down so it all fellapart upon opening. When you go somewhere to purchase food and the workers are so rude to the point that the energy taints themolecules of your food there is a problem. Read more
Came in for an order to pick up both sandwiches were ruined and not made right I called asking to get them remade she refused... saying ?I don?t believe you? don?t right after telling me she saw us and was the one who serviced us. Hung up on me when I askedfor corporate number and when I called back she proceeded to cuss me out and yell at me. Worst customer service I?ve everreceived. Read more
As far as Subways go, this is definitely my favorite. ALWAYS friendly service. The veggies are always fresh. It's close to work.... My coworker and I go there often and they remember who you are. Everyone there is personable. It cracks me up because they callhim "the cookie man". He's always orders cookies there. Read more
I tried to place an online order with the Subway (Carterville IL) app today. I have used this app several times but today when I... went to check out there was an added charge to my bill for $3+ for a tip for the "sandwich artist". I know Subway pays theiremployees above minimum wage and they are not considered tipped employees. When I order in the store I always kick in a fewbucks (cash) especially since the pandemic started. However, I refuse to pay a forced tip that automatically appears on my bill.I have no way to change the amount or delete it. I find this practice very offensive to be forced to pay an online tip or Subwayholds my order hostage. Subway employees are making a sandwich, putting it in a bag and taking my payment, something they arepaid to do. They aren't checking to see if everything is ok, refilling my drink, etc. like a server in a sit down restaurantwould be doing. Also, I seriously wonder if the employees actually receive the online tips. If this practice continues, I willno longer be a Subway customer. Read more
