Hubby wanted to go somewhere besides our regular spot for breakfast. We pulled in and the placed looked busy but we were told it... would only be a 5 minutes wait. We were seated by a nice hostess but the server seemed annoyed when she came up to take ourorder. It was a long wait from when we ordered till we received our food. People who came in after us were served before us. AndI know cost of everything went up but I do not think it was worth the price for the amount of food and service we received. Theyalso need to find a better system for people to pay because it's a traffic jam due to people waiting, picking up orders, tryingto pay and trying to enter/leave are all in the same little area. Haven?t had good breakfast in such a long time! Currently 38 weeks pregnant and was out running errands when I started craving... breakfast & chose this place randomly. Let me just say best decision EVER. Fast service, friendly staff, great food! They?reFrench toast is amazing!! It?s made with challah bread so it?s not your typical thin slices. If your thinking about eating herego for it I sure didn?t regret it and my standards are kinda high right now being pregnant. Read more
Foods ALWAYS great.!!! The redeye is wonderful... I love a little espresso in my coffee especially with great flavor. Steak... skillet is my faave.! Meat has flavor, I sub out the onions n mushrooms for broccoli & spinach. This is my favorite spot to goand have a quiet breakfast alone or with my boys. Read more
Since this place changed owners and names it is 100x better!!! Service was amazing, our waitress was so sweet. The atmosphere... was enjoyable for breakfast and food was on point. My ONLY complaint would be that bacon wasn't cooked. My mom's omelet wasoozing with cheese and looked to die for delicious. My egg meal breakfast was good, I mean not the best but not bad either. Had the Country Skillet ( Extra chedder 1$ and side of country gravy 2$. 2$? for basically maybeeee a 1/4 cup. That seems a bit... much ) Pretty tasty though. Eggs cooked perfect OE. Hashbrowns were little crispy and still tender and moist. Nice amount ofonions and peppers. Fried steak was good. But very small portion. Pancakes were average. And our particular waitress was notvery friendly and didn't come back once to check on us for water or to see how the food was. I mean I don't need to be babied,but at least a " Hey guys everything OK?" once would've been nice. I'll give it another whirl though. Read more
Reviews from 1 and 2 years ago were great, so I was so looking forward to trying this place! What a let down! THIS WAS THE... WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER BEEN SERVED ANYWHERE. I am attaching picture because otherwise you wouldn't believe how terrible it was.Hash browns were literally burnt black and like chewing wood! I thought I could pick some out but it was burnt black on bothsides and hard as wood. The Omlet was full of egg shells in almost every bite. One of the pictures shows a shell a quarterinch square after I chewed it down to size. I was shocked the waitress even served it, let alone that the cook thought this wasacceptable. I threw almost ALL of the breakfast away and wasn't even questioned by anyone if there was something wrong with itwhen the waitress picked it up off the table. Service was horrible. On the other hand...the milk was good, the coffee (when itfinally got refilled) was good, and the pancakes were excellent! Thank goodness, otherwise I would have left starving insteadof just hungry. Sad to say this place got my money once, but they will never get anymore, I don't do second chances withdining. You've been warned, you don't know when you will be the one with this experience. Food was very good . I had the country fried steak/sausage gravy & 2 eggs sunnyside up. Very delicious & cooked to perfection. ... My sides were fresh fruit bowl & rye toast . I loved they had green tea that was really good. The service was good overall.Definitely want to go back for lunch . They are open till 2p.m. wish they were open later.
