Kojaks is my go to place with my wife and I when we both can't decide on somewhere to eat. The "you pick/ I don't know" debate... typically always ends when one of us mentions Kojaks. They've got something for everybody burgers, dogs, beefs, chicken you nameit. My past few visits have been exceptional with the order being a buffalo chicken sandwich with perfect sauce consistency andflavor, exactly what you would expect from a buffalo chicken sandwich. The fried mushrooms are batters and fried to perfection. The Italian beefs are filled to brimming out of the roll and topped with whatever you like without skimping on condiments 10/10would recommend. Don?t bother ordering from as a vegetarian. My work ordered from here for lunch and the option they were provided with for me... was a Greek salad wrap. Lettuce on a tortilla that was absolutely drenched in an absurd amount of salad dressing. Photo attachedand all I did was cut the wrap in half Read more

Thought I?d give it one more try! Food is ok, but has gone downhill drastically! Gyro plate and cheese sticks cost $23.00. Gyro... is 1/2 the sandwich it used to be. $4.00 delivery charge. Way overpriced for what you get! Won?t be doing this again! Read more

Overall food is tasty but it's the little things, such as who puts honey mustard (mayo?) on a chicken gyro instead of tzatziki?... Or I ordered a large fries tonight ($3.29) and they were just thrown in the brown take out bag on top of 2 Styrofoam containersinstead of in their own bag - not spilling out of a fry bag, but dumped on top of the outside of other containers (kinda yuck). Not sure how I know I got a large size fry even. The last 4 times I've ordered.... The delivery person NEVER had everything and had to go back and get it. Last night, I ordered... the BBQ chicken dinner.... The salad was hot, the chicken was slimy and I NEVER got my French fries. Waited 1/2 HR andcalled..... The manager says I have a credit but never apologized for not bringing me my French fries. Place has gone to hell. I'll order from Galati's now.... Same price but way better quality. Screw kojacks. Read more

Today, I would give Kojak's 0 stars if I were able. This evening my family came over for dinner. We agreed we would order... Kojak's. Once my brother picked up the food and brought it home we noticed that the 4 large fries we ordered were missing. Icalled and was ready to go pick them up. I get that mistakes happen. However, after explaining it to the lady who answered, sheput me on hold and another VERY RUDE individual answered. She said she personally packed the fries herself and that I must havemissed them. She told me to look in the bag again. I was looking right at the bag that said 4 lg fries and there were no fries.Only the 1 bag of onion rings. How could I miss something like that? I don't appreciate her accusing me of lying. She must havebeen in a rush and placed our order in the bag of someone else. Who knows? Anyway, after accusing me of lying, she refunded mesome money, but she shorted me what the cost of 4 lg fries would be and hung up on me before I was finished. Go figure. This isthe last time anyone in my family will be ordering from there again. It's sad that such rude people are running the place. Read more

One of McHenry?s new offerings, Kojack?s advertises ?Greek Fries? boldly outside on its marquee, along with other Chicagoland... classics. I visited with family a few days ago, and liked the experience overall. As someone who has been in the restaurantindustry for years, I have a few things I?d change but not many. Cleanliness: 9/10 with a very clean dining room that wascleaned well after guests left. Food: I ordered the Italian Combo with Greek Fries. The sandwich was huge, beef was slicedthick and tasted great. Sausage wasn?t my favorite, but wasn?t bad either. Toppings offered were fantastic, and the roll wasdelicious. Greek Fries here are thin cut fries with feta, lemon juice, spices, and I believe olive oil. Loved them, and wouldabsolutely order them again. Someone at the table next to us had commented on how good they were as well. Portion sizes werelarge and at a fair price. My family member got the Reuben, which was somewhat devoid of 1000 Island and much sauerkraut?.sohis experience wasn?t as great as mine, but he said it wasn?t bad, and liked the option for chips on the side. To be fair, theprovided kettle chips did look pretty good. Menu options were pretty large, and I was intrigued by their gyro/hamburger hybridburger. Staff was friendly and brought our meals to the table. I assume someone from management or possibly the owner stoppedby our table to ask if everything was okay. Definitely a service you don?t see often at a Quick Service Restaurant. The onlythings I?d change would be more garbage cans in the restaurant, adding a little more decoration on the wall, and maybe add anapkin dispenser at each table. Kojacks has a pretty big menu, and did a decent job of impressing me the first visit. I?ll beback to try a few more things out, but so far it?s a decent spot. Read more

Pretty good hot dogs and chili dogs. The Greek salad, if you want to call it that had 2 pieces of feta cheese, 1 olive, and half... of a slice of tomato. They serve ice cream too. The place was clean with friendly workers. Fairly cheap pricing too. Read more
