On our visit visit we made reservations for indoor dinning since they also offer dinning outdoors. The venue was very nice. The... food was truly amazing! We tried the Ahi Tuna Ceviche as the appetizer. Truly delicious and like nothing else I've ever had. Mygirlfriend had the Red Snapper over orzo rice. She was speechless. She loved it! We held an engagement party last Saturday night for our daughter with 50 plus guests in the bar area of Academy Street Bistro.... The event was amazing I'll due to Joe the owner and his wonderful staff. The room was beautiful with high top tables covered inwhite tablecloths votive candles to which I added a single rose. The food was amazing. We served a selection of deliciousappetizers. We also had an open bar where Becca and Brook created wonderful cocktails without anyone having to wait more than aminute or two to get their drinks. Quite an amazing feat when you have 50 people all drinking. As we asked they continued tobutler trays of appetizers as well as serve drinks without people even having to go up to the bar to order one. I honestly havenever seen service like this at any event. It was over the top excellent! I guess we're as impressed as we were and all saidthat they would have an event here. If you are smart you will too. Consistency is key and this place never disappoints. Have come here plenty of times and always enjoy the specials and the... everyday menu items. The ambience is great- never too loud, so you can actually enjoy the conversations with your group and theplace is always clean. We have had Brooke take care of us multiple times and she’s always so friendly and even remembers usand our favorite drinks! Customer service maybe one of the main reasons this place is in constant rotation, we always getattentive and personable service. The bistro has yet to disappoint- highly recommend. Read more
We a dinner over my birthday, the restaurant has one’s of the most beautiful atmosphere in the area . The customer service is... excellent.. everything is carefully clean and personal is very polite. Food is great but personally had better expectations. Thepaella was an experiment but is not a real paella.. the flavors are very distantly of Spanish food . I’m from miami and Irecommend continues working and for sure will be successful. My best wishes for this wonderful restaurant and their staffs.Thank you for made me feel my especial day wonderful! I had a salad with... crab cakes and let me tell you - they are the best ones I have ever had. Adam served us and was so attentive and interesting!! Also met the owner, who seems like the most genuine guy. Came for the crab cakes, stayed for Adam. All around an incredibleexperience. Read more
We stopped by here for a drink on our way to dinner elsewhere. The staff was really friendly--the hostess was nice from the... start and we were met by Becca and Brooke at the bar where we had a wonderful glass of Bordeaux and an Old Fashioned. Assomeone visiting from Texas, I have to say this was just such a nice experience as I was made to feel right at home...Southernhospitality at its finest. I'm definitely going to return and have dinner here with my wife when she comes with me next time ina few months--my sis just moved here so I'm enjoying the visits and the area.
