Overall this place was pretty good. The staff was friendly and the food was authentic. I got brasied beef noodles and my... roommate got the pork with rice cakes. Both were pretty good but not stand out. I was disappointed with the crab rangoons (theywere over done) But we got the gelatinous rice balls in sweet rice vinegar for dessert which were absolutely delicious. They arefilled with sweet black sesame sause definitely recommend if you come here. The price point is a bit higher than other similarrestaurants in the area but if you are looking for authentic this is a great option. We will probably be back. I am slowlytrying every Chinese restaurant in the Raliegh area and this is definitely the most authentic one I have found so far :) Read more

The best Sichuan, snd probably the best Chinese food, I’ve had in NC. Used to live in NYC and get Sichuan all the time. This... is the first place I’ve been that’s lived up to the Sichuan restaurants there. Had the Chongqing chicken, cumin lambskewers, and vegetable ho fun. Read more

I have eaten here twice now and both times have been phenomenal. I grew up in Seattle which has a large Asian food restaurant... population so I’d like to think I have good taste. Both times we came here we got the pan fried dumplings (added soy sauce andchili oil to the dipping sauce), curry beef (meat only no veg) and general Tao’s chicken (not pictured). The meat is flavorfuland tender, the rice is cooked perfectly, the dumplings are nice and crunchy with a very flavorful filling. My husband gives thegeneral Tao’s an 7.5/10, good sweet/spicy balance. We will continue to come back. Read more

If you want authentic Sichuan Chinese food, this place is great and the serving portions are huge. My kids loved the sesame... chicken and dumplings. My husband (despite being able to handle spicy food) said it was overwhelming with a specific seasoningthat he did not enjoy and wasn't able to finish it. We loved everything else and were grateful for leftovers that fed us forseveral days! Read more

This is one of the best and most authentic Sichuanese restaurants in the area. Many of my Chinese coworkers used to love this... place. The food is affordable, delicious, and filling. The staff is courteous, and service is prompt. One suggestion is tobalance your meal with something acidic/sour/pickle-like because many entrees can be oily and fatty (while absolutelydelicious). The braised sizzling duck is terrific and tender! I love getting takeouts from this place, but consider visiting inperson, because some of the food being served fresh from the kitchen can do wonders! This is THE best Chinese food in the Triangle. Forget your idea of American Chinese takeout places. The menu here is pretty... authentic (and this is coming from a friend who has traveled extensively in China) and the food is amazing. If you dine-in,everything is served family style and it really adds to the experience. It is made in the Szechuan style, so expect some heat(hey, and some folks like that!). I totally recommend the hotpot items. They are served "dry", not in a broth, and are so wellseasoned! Read more
