Johnny's is easily now my favorite pizza in Raleigh. As a native New Yorker, I know pizza. Johnny's manages to deliver a crispy... thin NY crust, light on the oil, a perfect cheese pull, a sauce that lacks high acidity and they are heavy handed on thetoppings for the value. The service here is excellent and I will continue to visit for pies and wings. They have a plethora offlavorful wing sauces. Honey mustard being my favorite. I dined yesterday for the 2nd time with my family. There is plenty ofindoor booth seating and outdoor patio tables. We decided on the meat lover's pie and Buffalo wings. The Duke game was on thebig screens so we enjoyed that. The young man at the register was very kind and delivered our food to our table rather quickly.Our pie was hot and packed with all the meat you can dream of. Sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon... you name it ! The slices atJohnny's are as big as your head. The pizza is totally worth the 20 minute ride to this side of Cary. I attended an event at Johnny's Pizza in Cary, NC today. I had not eaten at Johnny's Pizza before, so I was eager to try their... food. Johnny's Pizza restaurant has a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel like family. The space within the restaurantis utilized well. It is not cramped nor too spaced out. It is just right. The staff greeted me with a smile, was professional,and welcoming. I like pizza but it is not typically my go to food item because of the overly greasiness. Johnny's pizza was notvery greasy at all. I was highly impressed by that. The dough was sufficiently thin, slices were large, and the flavor wasfantastic. I don't eat pork or beef, so I had the cheese pizza. The flavor of the cheese pizza tasted original. After taking myfirst bite, I felt like I literally had a custom made pizza as it was not a familiar cheese pizza flavor/taste as from otherpizza restaurants. I also had the opportunity to try two flavors of their wings. They were both great! One tasted like honeybarbecue, and the other more like a garlic Parmesan flavor. What I enjoyed most about these wings is that they were cookedproperly. I prefer my wings to be adequately cooked and not soggy inside. These were done perfectly! Another highlight oftoday's event, besides the camaraderie, the ambience, and the food, was that I got to meet Johnny, the owner, in person. Johnnywas very personable and approachable. I ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken on the pizza is super tough & overcooked . The pizza didn?t taste fresh... at all. I?ve never had pizza from here this was the first. I wish I would have just ordered a basic pepperoni Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, it was delivered fresh and hot 35 minutes before the estimated time. The delivery person was... friendly and polite and we had no issues ordering and receiving pizza from here. I appreciate the variety of vegetarian optionsand will be back to try them all! Read more

We had a great family dining experience. The staff Michelle, Val and Emma were wonderful, attentive and very inviting. I'm... slightly obsessed with courses so we started off with some bruschetta, the antipasto salad (which we enjoyed 1/2 as left oversthe following day) Greek Pizza, pepperoni for the little one and some tiramisu and a canoli for dessert. Yes we left very full,happy and had plenty of left overs for lunch the next day. You could really tell they make their products in house because theflavor is fresh and authentic. We had quite an amazing spread last night! The lobster ravioli was my most favorite followed by philly cheese steak stromboli... and all meat pizza! Emma, Val, and Michelle gave us fantastic service so we had to ask their names to include in an amazingreview! My daughter loved having her personal pizza and could watch Tangled while eating on their tv. We also had tiramisu andcanoli for dessert and could barely walk out after eating so much... What a delicious dining experience! Everything I tried what absolutely delicious! Let's start with the appetizers. Mac and... cheese bites, wings, and jalapeño poppers. The mac and cheese bites? Fried perfectly. Can you go wrong with deep fried mac andcheese? No you can't. Jalapeño poppers were cheesy goodness with a great marinara or ranch dipping sauce. And the wings? Cookedperfectly, good sauce. Great start to the meal. Then the pizza. We ordered the veggie Supreme and the bacon chicken ranch. Ididn't try the veggie because I'm not a veggie fan but the bacon chicken ranch? Beautiful. Fried chicken, bacon bits and ranchdressing on a cheesy pizza. Genius! Then there was the desserts.
