The food is of an exceptional quality and taste. However, we experienced a few issues; 1) the manager and staff decided to... start moving tables, making more than acceptable loud noises and the manager and staff laughed at scraping chairs and tableloudly on the floor, including moving two chairs right up against our table. A simple apology from the manager would haveworked but there was no sense of respecting their guests, 2) our server (Maggie) started strong but quickly disappeared, was notattentive, forgot to include our pasta sides and never offered grated cheese. Ultimately the high quality of food, but poorenvironment and sad level of service resulted in the rating. If Lugano’s managers and staff can match their food quality itwill help them be that consistent go to Italian restaurant experience. Read more
We went to Lugano Ristorante for my son's birthday. Zack was our server. He was very attentive and friendly. The food was... delicious. The calamari was the best I have had. I ordered the lasagna, and it was buttery smooth. We all enjoyed our meals, andthe family loved the bread. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place. Read more
It's harder to find a great meal on Sunday afternoon than you might think, so many places serve brunch & close for several hours... until dinner, and others aren't even open. Lugano's opens at 11am we arrived at noon and it's such a beautiful setting with thelighting and the linen tablecloths, spacious seating what a great find!!! When asked about the gluten free our waiter said hecould let us know our options. We started with the mussels appetizer, and asked the baguette to be served on the side. . Let mejust tell you this broth is incredible!!! They were the best mussels I've ever enjoyed and I just scooped my broth up with aspoon it was so delicious! I ordered the shrimp & fennel peppercorn crusted salmon with risotto and a lemon basil sauce. . Itwas INCREDIBLE!!! 6 huge shrimp I had to share 2 of them because I could not waste them and I wanted to finish the salmon. .Everyone at our table was raving about their food. My hubby ordered the shrimp and lobster with polenta, he loved it andthanked me for finding this place. And even though we are all stuffed, 2 ordered a creme brulee and a pana cotta, I just ordereda black coffee and an extra spoon. Even the black coffee was fabulous, my sister kept commenting on how good it smelled eventhough she doesn't drink coffee. And I took a couple of spoonfuls of my hubby's creme brulee, so smooth & creamy without tastinglike custard. We had mother's day lunch here in celebration of my mom, wife, and I and EVERYONE was happy, and EVERYTHING was delicious! Our... server was also fantastic. He was so good to my daughters during our meal and professional, friendly, and kind. We all agreedthat this will be the first of many wonderful visits to Luganos. Read more
The environment was nice and the service was good. The bread they serve in the beginning was also good. We were there early and... they had ran out of calamari, which is ridiculous. The pork chops were very good and tender with good flavor. They shrimps werewell cooked and large in both the salmon dish and the Capellini del Mare. However, the Capellini was very salty and the onlygood part about it was the shrimp. The fettuccine was good however it was also very salty. Read more

Let me start by saying we’ve been here twice before and had a fantastic meal both times. That being said, this time was... different. Menu had small switch ups from previous visits. Starting off with the pros: the bread, salad, and calamari werefantastic. Now for the mains, I understand this isn’t a pizza place, that being said the pizza was horrible. Pre-made doughwith pepperoni that tasted like digorno. The bottom wasn’t cooked at all. The other was the Tortellini. The sauce was greatbut the actual filling was way too salty. Almost to the point of being inedible. Truly a sad review for a place that’s givenus great meals in the past and cost $91 with tip. Read more
