Absolutely delicious dining at the Mellow Mushroom in Cary! We beat the dinner rush on Friday and enjoyed an amazing meal! The... waiter informed us that we could make any pizza half and half which was super cool of them, so we tried the Mellowterranean andthe Wild in Havanna (which tasted like a cuban sandwich pizza and it was SO GOOD!!!). Simply the BEST pizza in town. Mellow Mushroom also offers burgers, calzones, appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, but we've only... ever ordered pizza and have never been disappointed. We've eaten nearly every variety they offer (including gluten-free) andeach one is spectacular. My absolute favorite is the Holy Shittake (pictured) and the crust is unbelievable. I actually order aside of marinara (or garlic sauce) and save all the crust and have a "breadstick" dessert party after. We generally ordertakeout, but the atmosphere of the dine-in area is fun, hippy, casual, and very inviting. The cost is on the pricey side and thesizes are a tad small, but worth every penny - not a single slice goes to waste! Such a treat! Read more
We have been to many Mellow Mushrooms over 3 states, and we like to call this one our fancier one. Each location has such an... experience. Our server was great, sorry we forgot her name last night but I remember her by all her colorfull pens. Kids lovedthe food as usuall and this time paced ourselves to get some desert haha. The pizza was really good. We were really happy to see the customize option of half and half pie where we could select two of... the varieties. Our pizza was the combination of cheese and veg out pizza. Looking forward to try more from Mellow Mushroom. Read more
One of the coolest Pizza places I've ever been to. The atmosphere screams psychedelic experience. The halls are covered in cool... colors, trippy artwork and it's very aesthetically pleasing. The staff was amazing, very ontop of our order and veryattentive. The food is so delicious too! We tried some of their new pizza combinations, the Havana was alright but the MerryPrankster was absolutely phenomenal. Really hope they keep it on the menu permanently ????. Do yourself a favor and stop in forsome pizza of you have a mellow mushroom near you. Read more
Not a fan at all. Our Server was nice but the food was so subpar! The person I was dining with was ok with the meal she had... but even she did not finish her meal. The manager even stopped by our table and I showed him how much of my food I ate. Heapologized and offered to bring me something else, but I had no more time on my lunch break. Most at that point , would havetaken it off the bill or at least gave a credit to come back and try something different. I did not get an offer, so instead, Iwill leave my review, and not return. I thought about doing the survey but this option was better for me since I was notinvited to return. Good luck to you all. Read more
