One of the best Sushi and udon places in Cary. We tried the seafood and tempura udons which were quite good. But the sushi was... authentic and excellent ????. Had the 'Firestation' roll which was amazing, and better suited for those that prefer a bit ofspice. Read more

Had a chance to visit Oiso in Cary tonight which sits in a smaller shopping center next to Harris teeter off of Maynard Rd it's... a smaller restaurant that is korean based ... It serves sushi and some korean entrees.. So checked it out and had ate thefollowing dishes: Chef Kim's Roll which is Tuna, salmon, white tuna(escolar), snapper, spicy crab, cilantro and crab stick indaikon wrap, topped with special ponzu sauce... this roll was delicious .. it's one of the heavier options on rolls but thedaikon gave it a lil extra love to an already delicious roll. Crispy Rice which is a spicy tuna and avocado served on deepfried rice triangles ... I had this same dish at M Sushi in Durham and it was on the same level of deliciousness.. think spicytuna tartare on a crostini... this is just the Asian version of it .. Tuna Kani is Tuna, avocado and crabstick wrapped incucumber with special ponzu sauce was good here but not as good as Osha Thais version .. still delicious but cucumber wassliced a little thicker .. good option if you didnt want the heavier sushi with rice type rolls. Beef Bulgogi BIBIMBAP whichis a bed rice served in hot stone bowl where the rice on the bottom is crispy due to the oil and hot stone bowl giving it a nicecrispy rice base and than its topped with cucumbers, bean sprouts , a fried egg, and beef bulgogi... the crispy rice in thebottom is like a hidden treasure ... you dig it up and stir it with the rest of the ingredients in the bowl and add someGochujang sauce to kick it up with a lil spice. Overall a good little spot Read more

First time trying this sushi and Korean place. The sushi was good. However, we preferred spicy tunas that isn't cut up. So 1... star taking off that. Will come back for sure. Read more

I am a high maintenance gal w/ tummy problems so I?ve been doing keto for the last few years which basically meant no sushi. 3... words- CUCUMBER. WRAPPED. SUSHI. Life changing, I cried about it on the drive home. Our sweet waitress even offered to bringspecial gluten free soy sauce for us. Seriously she was an angel. Best service and food I?ve had in Cary. Great service and food! The people here are SO friendly. They were very quick to serve us. They gave accurate time estimates... when we called in for a take out order. They also made sure to restate the order on the phone and check when we arrived becauseI needed no sesame seeds on my sushi. I appreciated their attention to detail, because not all places do that! The food itselfwas very good. We couldn?t wait to eat, so the photos don?t show the full portion. There was beef teriyaki and salmon avocadosushi. The rest of the menu looked good, too. Read more

Everything was delicious! Service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly, smiled, created eye contact, and was accurate.... All the staff lit up and said happy new year when our kiddo told them bye and happy new year on the way out. Definitelysomewhere we?ll visit many more times to come. Pictures is the Salmon Crunch specialty roll and behind it the Tuna Crunchregular roll. Both were so delicious! We also enjoyed the beef teriyaki. The beef was a little crunchy and that texture wasexactly what it should be. So good! Read more

Everyone has their favorite Sushi restaurant, and everyone says theirs is the best around, and the truth is it's a matter of... personal taste and preference. I encourage you to give them a try. In my humble opinion this is by far the best in a 50 mileradius from a taste perspective. The service was extremely attentive and the prices are reasonable. The Sushi chef is pureTALENT. He was more than skilled in his preparation and ensured our sashimi dish was perfect, it was Chef's choice and theyasked if there was any fish we did not care for. I said the Salmon was not my favorite and it was not on the dish per my input. At the end of the dinner the waiter asked if we would care to sample a few more pieces (on the house) and Salmon was part ofit.. I could see the Chef watching me as we tried it.. it was amazing too! just WOW! Read more
