Omgg, soooo good!! The owner made my colada himself. The guava & cheese patty was warm, moist, and flaky. I was in absolute... heaven. I also got Yuca Frita & a beef empanada. So glad I found this place! I used to eat Cuban food every day when I wasliving in another city. Ps: Papi told me the coffee is his own special roast!! They have their custom roast prepared fresh eachweek. Definitely come here! So good. One single negative aspect was that the beef empanada shell was so big but there wasbarely any beef in it. There was just a tiny bit shoved into the bottom of the shell ? maybe just 1/5 of the empanada had meat .I?m used to eating empanadas that are mostly full, around 3/4 full. I would suggest this restaurant make smaller shells ifthey?re only going to put a tiny bit of meat. Or, add more meat to their current shells. Read more

We tried 2 sandwiches (a media noche and a croqueta sandwich), a beef empanada, and a colada (espresso) to drink. The sandwiches... were great. They also seemed to throw in an extra coqueta for us to try too. My husband shared he wished the croqueta snack wasa little more savory/crunchy but overall it was really all great!! I loved the flavor of the sandwiches, especially the cheesethey used. It was surprisingly busy when we arrived - and now I know why! It?s a great place and I really hope they will bearound for a long while in the community! Read more

My mother and I LOVE Cuban sandwiches. It's very hard to find one worth raving about around here. Well, I tried Papi's Cuban... Cafe thinking it would be ok. But it was way more than expected. I mean it was full of meat and plenty of pickles the breadwas on point. This was by far the best Cuban I've had in NC. Read more

I was so pleased to have found this place. Their sandwiches are fresh and made to order. Outstanding flavor. And this is the... only place that I've found in the Raleigh area that serves authentic Cuban-style coffee. My only complaint is that they are notopen early enough for the morning commute. I guess I should thank them because it's saving me a lot of money on coffee. Read more

Open place, nice food. First the place, it's perfect for this spring and summer weather that we have in this day's, with tables... outdoors, enough air to keep being safe of viruses. The attention is good. I tried two sandwiches: That Cuban Jerk, sliced spicyChicken/Swiss cheese/ Dill Pickles/Lanes Aioli pressed on Authentic Cuban bread and The Miami, Traditional Cuban Sandwich withFamily Pork Recipe, / Ham / Swiss cheese/ Dill Pickles/ Mustard. Both delicious (For me, just one sandwich is enough for alunch). This restaurant is convenient located close to the Knights  Play Golf Center. Delicious food, charming place! Read more
