We stopped for some snacks & brews after hiking the Wahclella Falls Trail. Chips & Salsa with Guacamole and a bowl of Chili,... paired nicely with a 140 IPA, Glacier Lily Golden and an Apple Cider. Sat outside for the fresh air and views. Service wasgreat. Hopefully they’ll have more Gluten Free options next time. Read more
You might find better beer, better food, better location, better service, but I dare you to find all those things in one place... that can beat Thunder Island. I've had just about everything on the menu except for some of the entree salads. Everything isexcellent. Never had a beer of theirs that I didn't love. The 140 IPA, Dirt Surfer IPA, and the porter were all favorites. One more dessert option would be great. The view and airiness, if that's a word, make for a great atmosphere. Love thesoundtrack and it doesn't mess with you ability to visit. Okay that's enough. Keep it up TIB! Read more
Awesome place for a nice day with your dog on the patio. I had Sunday lunch with my wife and daughter there and it was just a... fabulous day with perfect weather. I had an IPA and the wife a cider and the burgers and pulled pork sandwiches were great. Thefries and sweet potato fries were nice and crunchy. An excellent Sunday lunch. Read more
Nice choice for a family dinner out while on vacation. The beer/ciders were definitely the focus with a pretty standard food... menu to accompany them (Slava Ukraini was my favorite, but the strawberry cider was good, too.) Kids’ menu limited. We sat onthe patio in the late evening and were definitely glad the staff put out the heaters! Good views, too. Definitely makereservations if you are visiting even close to peak season - even with a reservation, we had a 15-minute wait for a table to becleared. Blackened chicken sandwich was too spicy for my tastes and the balsamic vinaigrette with the salad was weirdly thick.Smash burger was average. The Dave Fries were worth a visit in and of themselves, though! Read more

It was yet another dining experience extraordinaire at Thunder Island Brewing Co. Our visit was a repeat one, and tracking... our knowledge about the place, it started with recommendations from family and friends. The overall experience is definitelysuperb. Great view, top-notch customer service, neat and tidy place, and definite gives the friendly neighborhood feel andfriday night alternative (though we went there for lunch). It's that place that takes a piece of your taste buds' memory. Sogood, we were talking about the dishes we ordered until the next day. Very cute, certainly hipster, brewery. Great natural wood table tops, and very friendly staff. Service was fast and... efficient. My partner and I ordered the fried pickles, field roast plant based burger, Mac n cheese, and the tomato soup. Allthe food was pretty awesome... Actually very good. Highly recommend. Only negative comment to share is: I tend to be a slightlypicky eater and i asked the waiter initially for just a plain burger with ketchup only. Surprisingly the waiter immediately shutme down and said their burgers come as is. Like Chef Didier from the movie, "Last Holiday"... No substitutions...Lol... Really? You guys can't make me a plain medium rare burger with only some ketchup? Kinda bizarre. Management might wantto revisit that business decision... Other than that it was great. Read more
This is a really new brewery with an amazing view. They do have a non-alcoholic option for beer, but as I don't drink alcohol... this review is just for the food. The veggie burger was standard and nothing special, and I got maybe t or 6 pieces of fruitwith it. The waffle fries were alright, nothing special as the sauce wasn't the best. My friends said they did enjoy the beerthough! Read more
