We have visited and purchased from Anjou for years while traveling back and forth. But now they expect customers, who pay top $... for their baked and other goods, to use the plastic outhouses. I attempted to use their bathroom today as has been available forthe past 5 years?which is very accessible, and was told, ?Ah?no you can?t use that please use the outside bathrooms.? GoodbyeAnjou! This place is designed for travelers and has a beautiful outdoor area. However, the entire outdoor section is off-limits to... dogs. This is really hard when traveling with a dog (which 97.4% of Seattlites are), especially in the summer. It would havebeen lovely to be able enjoy their wares outside with said dog nearby on leash. Speaking of wares; the tuna sandwich was prettygood, but the crusty bread was almost too crusty... to the point of hard to eat. The croissant and the peanut butter cookieswere good, but not worth cooking or freezing the dog over. I don't think we will stop here again. Read more

Love, love, love their bread, but after multiples times going to get bread and treats I continue to have rude customer service.... When we walk out and my child innocently asks me why they were so rude, saying everyone has bad days, may not be the truth here.No matter how kind I am, how much I smile, I continue to be met with unfriendly staff. After my last visit it may be time tofind a Bakery with better customer service. Everyone has bad days and comes across wrong sometimes, but when I have been theremultiple times lately and only one time was I met with good customer service, may not be worth it. The one time they werefriendly, my order was wrong, but I didn't say anything because I wanted to keep the customer service experience positive. Stilldeciding if I want to be treated unkindly just to have their bread..... Read more

We always stop at Anjou when traveling from Seattle. They have the flakiest croissants and delicious grab and go sandwiches for... lunchtime. Most importantly, the last time we were there I mistakenly left my wallet behind, and when another patron returned itto the staff, they went above and beyond to return it to me safely. I'm a loyal lifelong customer! Read more

This was the perfect place to stop and rest on our way back to Seattle. It is peaceful and calm with some pretty views. The iced... Chai was delicious, and the Brie and sun-dried tomato sandwich was amazing! Read more

If you've never driven through Cashmere before, don't make the incorrect assumption that it will be a quaint mountain town like... Leavenworth. We decided to make the trek to Anjou and were disappointed to realize it was a farm style building on the side ofthe high way. Inside, it was pretty standard fair - some sandwiches, sweets, and espresso based drinks. It was all good, but Iwouldn't recommend going out of your way like we did. There are options in Leavenworth that are on-par or better. Read more
