So the food is amazing! I?ve been to every Mexican place in town and I have been very disappointed but this place is amazing!!!... The waiting staff left me and my wife at the door for ten minutes and just stared at us and there was no wait and when we askedfor a booth we were told that it was a specific waiters turn and that we couldn?t have a booth even though there was like fivebooths available. Delicious food, everything has been amazing when we've ordered in or taken out. The service has been lackluster the times we... ate-in. We'd have to flag down servers who were standing by the host area, chatting. They're nice and relatively quick, though!Kids enjoyed their food, too. Read more

The food is usually good, really great guac, like some other reviewers have pointed out, it can be over seasoned or too salty at... times. The service is usually good, but again like other reviewers have pointed out I think they may have an employee, or a few,that have really bad attitudes at times and take it out on the customers, this is not always the case and most of the time theservice is pretty good. They rarely answer the phone, I wish they would but most of the time when I call they don?t pick up so Ijust order from somewhere else. They pick up the phone less than 20% of the time. They do this (as mentioned in other reviewresponses) because they claim to be a dine in restaurant firstly & primarily and don?t seem to be able to handle the to govolumes. Soooooo after receiving a $60 dollar order that was entirely wrong. Extremely salty to the point of burning our tongue?s. My... wife called and Betty Lopez, the head waitress answered the phone. After explaining the situation to her she laughed at us onthe phone and said ?noone else has complained? and that she would have her boss call us back. The problem is, she never askedfor our number. So we went down there 10 minutes before closing after never receiving a call. She immediately scowled at us andsaid ?hold on?. The owner Alex came up to the front and after a very brief conversation he said no worries and offered our moneyback in full. So we were satisfied although irritated with the attitude of Betty. As soon as Alex walked back into the kitchenshe said to me ? you guys are just looking for someone to blame? confused I responded to her just let us have our refund and wewill be on our way. My wife asked her why she was so rude and that is when it all went down hill. After a shouting match infront of the other customers she stated that she would ?F-ing cancel the refund?. The refund was initially in our bank but thenext day disappeared. She indeed did cancel our refund AND added herself a $10 top on top of it. It took over a week ofcommunication with the owner to be told ? a check is up front for you?. When we went to get the check we were met at a lockeddoor by Betty again. She looked confused and stated ?Alex is not here?. My wife said that there is a check for us up front. Sheretrieved and handed it off. My wife made the statement that she basically stole from us by adding herself a tip and cancelingour refund. She immediately began calling her a b*tch and pointing at me stating ?my husband is going to catch you in thestreets and F me up?. I rolled my window up and we left. I absolutely love this restaurant. I usually order different dishes when I go in. The green chili is a staple for me. ... Delicious! This last time I deliberately chose the restaurant for lunch as they had yak dishes again. I ordered a burrito withthe yak and smothered in green chili. Besides the tortilla those were the only ingredients in the burrito. That was the bestburrito I have ever had! The yak meat was perfect without a bunch of cheese and beans. The chili was perfect with the sweettaste of the yak. The cook brought out a bowl of the juice from the yak. It was so good. I hope people get out and try theyak at this restaurant.
