Today is Aug 28th 2022 and I came in so last min for dinner (I get off of work late) but the dark skin gentleman did not mind... and made my sub so delicious! They were out of honey ham for the night but he improvised and it was amazing!! He was veryapologetic and I appreciate that. Most business will be like ?oh well? but he was extremely nice, I?m glad you have people likethat working for your business! Made a great impression for it only being the second time I?m trying firehouse subs. The firsttime I was not impressed as I ordered from the altamonte location and they closed their doors 20 min before closing time and Iordered my sub online. And they tossed the completely wrong sub to me through the door. Will be coming to this location from nowon! Read more
You should never have to wait 30+ minutes for a couple of easy subs (2 hooks & a BTR). This location used to be pretty good, but... today?s crew just couldn?t get it together. The 4-person crew delivered about 7 subs to customers in the 30 mins we waited (nopickup/online orders prepared), to people who were also complaining about the wait - less than a dozen customers in there. Wehad to leave due to an upcoming appointment that we were almost late to due to waiting. When I complained at the 30 minute mark,I was advised it would be another 5 minutes until they were ready, so we had to leave rather than get our subs. I could?vewalked to Publix, bought all the items fresh cut from their deli, made the subs for them & drove home in that excessively longwindow. Ok. I?m not someone who likes to make accusations without evidence, but i will never eat or refer anytime to a Firehouse subs... place. This was my first and last time. I?m not expecting five star service because it?s a sandwich shop. Two guys were workingand one of them made a noise and said ohhhhh. One handed me my subs with a smirky attitude and said here?s your order Sir with asuspicious and sarcastic attitude, while biting his lip fighting back a grin. Did they drop one of my subs and pick it up? Makesme wonder if they did something else? I feel embarrassed for this place and feel like I should have watched them make mysandwiches to insure nothing like this happened. Like I said, I can?t prove it or even know if there?s a way to look. I?venever, ever had a feeling like someone messed with my food like I did here. I?m not eating either of these and will take theloss. I hope that didn?t happen, but shouldn?t have to babysit to make sure. I am also not trying to cause any problems, but mygut instinct says not to eat them and I?m going with that. Very awful dining experience. I visited the store around 2:20 pm on Sunday, May 1st. The employees were moving very slowly and... showing no sense of urgency. On top of that the young lady said, ?I don?t know how I didn?t get fired yet!? You?ve got to dobetter firehouse. Read more
Ordered a tuna sandwich and got a sad amount of tuna between two pieces of bread with absolutely nothing else. The order was... placed online with their app and the only modification was extra cheese (which is not present, along with any othertoppings). It also took them well over 20 minutes to make the two sandwiches in my order, and the place was dead empty when Iwalked in. This is the second location that has basically stolen my money; I'd suggest just avoiding the whole franchise atthis point. Read more
First employees are working without any initiative. Second, when I came home and I opened my order, one of the sub wasn't what I... ordered, I ordered a New York Steamer and they give a Steak and cheese not even with cheese. It is so frustrating that I comefrom work tired, stop there to get the sub that I want, and they give me the wrong order. They need to pay attention to whatthey are doing. Read more
Ordered the hook and ladder sub. Has no lettuce no tomatoes no onions. Just meat and cheese. Asked for an extra pickle and got... no pickle. The guy making my sub had headphones in. I have had the absolute worst experience here. First off I spent 35$ on two subs because the subs are amazing..... but this time... was terrible.. I got there after ordering online within about 8 minutes...got the food home.. it was cold! I ordered a sidesalad and was given a bowl of brown lettuce, some mozzarella cheese and some what I think was peppers... there was red saucefinger prints in the salad bowl.. it was just terrible.. the side salad is almost 5$... needless to say we took it back becausethat is just ridiculous... my husband walks in and states we just picked up our order and showed the salad.. the guy at thecounter says "I told you... I told you!" So they already knew... then the other kids started saying "this is the day... I'mabout to lose it".....then proceed to say we'll what goes in a salad... I never made one..... the entire situation was wrong...I definitely won't order from there ever again. Read more
