I live in Montana and I was in town visiting family. We decided to stop and eat at the outlet mall Tokyo Joe's. I want to... recognize the gal that took our order and waited on us. She had short black hair (I wish I would have caught her name) and oneof the best personalities and customer service I have ever received. She was very complimentary and friendly which is rare inthe times we are currently living in. I rarely write reviews for businesses unless I feel there was an employee or service thatwent above and beyond. Excellent as always! This is the Best Tokyo Joe's. Today I ordered ahead for a specific pick up time. When I arrived a few... minutes ahead of time all was ready and still hot. Food tasted great with nice veggies in my husband's Thai Noodle Bowl & myBahn Mi with a special request of half brown rice and half sweet potato was super yummy. All I can say is wow, I stopped last night to get a meal and the only thing that was right in my bowl was the chicken part. I... have a gluten allergy and I told them that and ordered the spicy aki sauce and got the regular glutinous teriyaki sauce alongwith a bunch of vegetables I didn?t order I asked for double veggies and barely got any at all. My sushi was screwed up. Advice to management stop hiring people that smoke so much pot they can?t run the cash register appropriately. It?s seriouswhen you give someone an allergy the wrong food it was clearly my order because it had my name on it and I ordered sushi and achicken bowl. This place has gotten so extreme on their diversity they have forgotten to hire people with brains. Diversity isgreat I highly support it but not at the cost of intelligence. I ate here about a month ago in the evening and Sarah was the MOD. She greeted me with a smile and helped me decided on a great... dish. Was an amazing diner. My wife and I spent approximately $75.00 for 2 dinner meals, 2 appetizers, and 1 volcano drink. My wife... loves sushi, out of the 13 diners she's been to, this quickly became her #1 favorite. The tempura was also really rich. 10/10would recommend. Read more

Usually very impressed with the food and service of this location, but tonight's recent visit was a stark and glaring... disappointment. None of the BYOB toppings we asked for were included. The avocado (which was still charged to us!) was notincluded. We got less steak than usual on one of the bowls. And the sweet potato that was supposed to be our base was replacedwith rice (which we're trying to avoid for a low carb option). We were informed that the sweet potato was out, and we would havebeen fine if that was the only thing omitted from our order. But so much more was missing than we can accept for the price wepaid for the food. I understand that it was a busy night, but I'd rather wait and get a complete or otherwise satisfactoryorder with our input than receive what we got tonight. I hope moving forward that this Tokyo Joe's takes my words to heart,improves their service, and does everything they can to make this right with us. Read more
