Just had a wonderful take home dinner from the Black Roster! All that we ordered was amazingly delicious. First time eating... here, now, not going to be the last. The wonderful server also made our experience amazing! Two great pizzas, dry ribs, poutineand salad. Again everything was amazingly delicious. A great bar with good food. They have pool tables and an overall good bar atmosphere. I had the chicken souvlaki. It was juicy... and delicious. I likes the tzatziki as well. They also had a good selection of beer. Read more

We have been twice now in the last month after giving it a miss for at least 4 years. We must say the food is excellent .... Ribeyes were delicious and cooked to perfection. Today we had a wonderful lentil soup with chicken souvlaki and pork cutlet.Servings are large. Our waitress very knowledgeable and her suggestions were spot on. We will be back soon. Read more

We ordered the mushroom fettuccine and the Alfredo sauce tasted like hot milk, and nothing else. The ?garlic bread? was made... from a HOTDOG bun that had been lightly toasted. We also got the chicken club which was supposed to be on a brioche bun, butinstead was a small, squished white bun. There was very little chicken on the burger, maybe a quarter of a breast sliced open atbest. The service was okay, but the food was definitely overpriced for what it actually was. Read more

I was craving calamari and headed to the black rooster. I definitely wish I had looked at other restaurants in the area. This... was the highest cost, very small portion size, and didn?t even come with breaded jalapeño or hot banana peppers. The calamariwas very bland and the tzatziki did not have much flavour either.
