First time we ordered the food was quite good. Tonight's was horrible. Overcooked vegetables, soggy spring rolls, chow mein had... no flavour and texture was as if it sat too long. Almond chicken bland. Definitely not worth the money spent. Verydisappointing. Read more
I have never actually eaten at this restaurant. I have always been curious about it the many times I have driven by but it's a... bit out of the way. One day rather than going to our usual favourite we decided to give it a try. We were especially excitedafter reading that it got decent reviews but that quickly turned to frustration. First off, I couldn't get through to them onthe phone to place a pick up order - I tried for a good 25 minutes of calling back to back but each time I got a message saying"this caller is temporarily unavailable" (which normally means it's busy). Finally, after no luck we decided to drive there.According to the hours listed on their website and road sign, they should have been open for at least another 30 minutes buttheir open sign was not lit. However, right as we pulled up we saw someone going in. On the door was a big sign that said tocall ahead first and then drive to the pick up window on the side. When we looked in the front window we saw people (workers weassumed) inside, the phone ringing (no one answering) and all they did was point us over to their pick up window. When we droveover to it no one answered. If they were closed for some reason outside of their normal hours, they should have had a sign ontheir door explaining this. Finally, fed up we left and called our favourite place which our call was answered after 1 ring.This experience left a terrible taste in my mouth and I don't think I will ever go back. Read more
Peaceful, uneasy feeling. 430 am, can't sleep, been up since 1, might get ill. Not all bad. On the table in about 5... minutes, veggies crisp, not mushy. Friendly service. Portions were good, 3 of us ate for 50 bucks and enough left over for 1more. Spring rolls tasted like the oil was rancid and the tofu was like a sponge, absolutely saturated with grease. Reallyodd, could squeeze a ton out. Girlfriend almost threw up when she chewed it, not trying to be harsh just her automatic reactionto it.
