We live on the far west side and had a coupon so we tried it. They put Penn Station to shame. Tried the regular cheese steak and... the wagyu cheese steak sandwich. Both were delicious and full of meat to the end of the sandwich. I'll make it my mission tostop by whenever I'm on the east side. Read more

So disappointed. The first time I had a cheesesteak from Capriotti's I was in heaven. I watched them make it and drove 15... minutes back to my house it was still fresh and delicious. That was the first time i introduced my husband to the large classicItalian. He loved it! The last two times I've ordered for pickup the sandwich has been made incorrectly. I've asked for doublemeat both times and that has not happened. They've left off my mayo and my hot peppers. Today my bread was so chewy I couldbarely bite into it. The steak was so overcooked and dry that i had to add ketchup in order to swallow it down. I don't want tohave to stand there and watch them make my cheesesteak I'm order to love it. I always get my husband a large classic Italian. Iasked for light mayo, light oil, and light vinegar. The sandwich was soggy and falling apart and the mask oozed out of theside of the sandwich. Capriotti's has ruined other sandwich shops for me. So thanks a lot, now I have to drive an hour everytime I want a sandwich.... They are so damn good, nothing else can compare. I forgot to take a photo of the "Bobby" but it's the Thanksgiving feast in abun, and taking a bite of it is like the scene out of Ratatouille where the food critic takes a bite and is transported back tohis childhood. We spontaneously stopped at Capriotti?s and I am so glad! We got the large Impossible Cheese Steak Sandwich (which is actually 2... full subs!). I positively inhaled my portion. It was the best vegetarian version of a Cheese Steak sandwich that I?ve ever hadand it tasted just like the sandwiches from Philly! I cannot rave about this sandwich enough. Everything was perfect: theingredients, textures, FLAVOR, and temperature. It?s not a matter of if but when we?ll revisit Capriotti?s. Absolutelyfantastic! Excited to try other things on their menu!
