This review is just for food Pros Staff was really nice Prices are good The Reuben/ Rachel's aren't bad The flat bread pizza was... good Boneless wings are ok Cheesesteak was good Fries were good Cons Pretzel bites sucked they were greasy and tasted likesomething from giant grocery outlet the cheese wasn't good either They put sauerkraut on my rachel Overall the place was decentand cheap. Service was nice and friendly. The food was ok it was nowhere great though. It's a typical small town bar where youcan get cheap drinks nice staff and ok food. When we first walked in we weren't sure if we were going to stay but it was getting late so we decided to give it a try and I'm... glad we did. Their portions were huge the food was excellent our waiter had a huuuuge table plus all the other tables and he wasthe only one, he was running like crazy but still made sure he was very attentive to us. The only reason I took a star away wasdue to the other diners children running rampant through the place grabbing darts from the dart board, screaming and treatingthe place like their own personal playground while the parents were busy getting wasted!! Stopped in here as a Hospitality worker from f.l We come from a place where everyone knows your name Tonight the bar tender made... me a shot from back home called the mind Eraser is with Kahlúa at the bottom and club soda at the top Perfectly my Manzmargarita was clear spritzful perfect To the teeee !!! During our camping weekend, we stopped by around 6pm for a few beers and dinner Friday night. This local tavern was really a... good time, decent bottle beer selection and the food was really good. They had wings they served crispy non breaded. Thesauces were tasty. The cheeseburger I had was juicy. The place is really big, the backend looked like it could host 200people and a band. Pool tables and darts! Service and bartender was really nice to talk to. I'd bring kids and parents here. Not the fanciest decor, but look past that to enjoy a night out. Recommend. Read more

Been coming to the barrel since 1998. BEST mild garlic sauce you will ever have for wings. Also consider the best dive bar... idea in Eastern Pennsylvania. Very accommodating staff and laid back environment. Highly recommend stopping on your travels. Read more
