Great tuna melt. Returned for dinner 2 nights later. The New York steak was horrible. Very thin and lots of grissel.

Great staff, very friendly manager chated us up. Our party had the three specials, all were ok. I've had much better lunches... there. Very reasonably price menue items, closed early but understand why. Read more

We had reservations for 6:15, that was timely. The servers were friendly. This is where things go downhill. The restaurant had... maybe 10 tables occupied with 3 servers. We waited for 15 minutes before they took our order, they forgot our appetizer, wementioned it and were told it takes a long time to fry the chips. After sitting there for an hour our food arrived. We orderedburgers, 1 out of the three were correct. We were there for over an hour and a half sitting in patio dining with no patioheaters in 55° weather. The hamburger was bland the meat itself didn't have much flavor. It was a disappointing dinner for65.00. Read more

Ordered take out from the dinner menu. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection (I am very picky)!! Husband got salmon and that also... was very well prepared. Everything seasoned well and delicious!! Much better with new management in place. Read more

We heard about JAX now being open 7-days a week from friends who stated it was good and there was live music. We went on a... Friday night and in the background was a singer entertaining a group of people in the dining room. We settled into the bar andthe bartender greeted us with enthusiasm & a willingness to serve. He prepped our drinks quickly let us enjoy them then gave usa menu. As a side note they have a happy hour menu from 3 pm to 7 pm daily! They have some nice offerings on their HHmenu. Let's get down to what we ordered. I ordered the soup of the day which was Cream of corn soup. It was tasty and the bestpart of the meal. For my meal I ordered the Calamari appetizer which came with two sauces; tarter & marinara sauce. As I bitinto the first bite I quickly realized they had been in the deep fryer 2-3 minutes too long. Folks I tried but could not eat therubbery things. The bartender was very helpful and apologetic for my meal and we changed it to the fish and chips which mydinner partner was eating. The fish arrived quickly and the fish tasted to be from frozen state (not a slam). I find frozen fishto be a little more 'mushy' than fresh. It was breaded in the kitchen and dropped in oil. My opinion is the oil was not hotenough and the breading was a bit too moist for me. I don't think the fish ever met salt and pepper. Overall an okay meal forhere in the valley. But to stand out they will need to up their game on the food. I'll give it another try and see what happensin a few weeks. Let's talk ADA. I'm in an electric wheelchair and we arrived after dark and finding parking was a bit confusing. We found the spot and I rode my chair up a steep incline to the rear of the building. An incline I had no intention on goingback down to the car so my partner drove the car to the front door to pick me up. The ramps are wide and getting in and out maybe an issue from the front door with the entrance having about a 1/2 inch step up to get in the door. Going in Read more

5 of us had lunch on opening day and we all ordered different items and agreed we would easily order any of them again.... Remodeled setting is very nice (we ate outside) and loved the views. Service was good and food came fairly quickly. Very nice tohave a new nice place to take company that is so close to home. Read more
