Authentic Mexican restaurant with lightning fast service and amazing people . We had also requested for a dessert for a friend... and the entire staff came together and gave us a nice spanish birthday wish with a delicious dessert . We ordered a margaritapitcher , chicken and shrimp fajitas , pineapple fajitas and chorizo rice . All of it were fresh and tasty. And obviously likeall good Mexican restaurants, they have fresh chips and salsa If you are headed towards mammoth caves , make sure you load yourself with tasty Mexican food before you go for the long cave tours! Great food and atmosphere! You definitely get your money?s worth here. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Endless chips and... salsa. We had the carnitas burrito Mexicano and Chorizo chicken. El Mazatlan was a great place to eat what I considered to be 'authentic' Mexican cuisine. Service was quick and friendly. The... prices were fair but not high. As a side note, I ordered grilled Jalapeños (not on the menu) as a side and they weredelicious. Highly recommend this establishment if you want south of the border flavors. Read more
This restaurant is on top of their game! It?s definitely the busiest place to dine in cave city and the staff are very efficient... and friendly. There is a lot of food options on the menu and everything is very reasonably priced. They also bring you freechips and salsa when you first sit down, I have to say I didn?t love the salsa but everything else was great. I got the Mexicansalad and my partner got the fish dish, everything was tasty and fresh especially good value for the price we paid. Read more
Wow! Did not see this one coming. By far the cleanest and nicest establishment in the entire town. Food was good. Restaurant was... impeccably clean and service was the fastest that I have ever had in my life. The bathroom was incredible! By far the best was amacho mug of Dos Equis for $5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Great Mexican restaurant with unique options and lots of variety. I ordered the shrimp Piña Fajita?fajita ingredients inside a... carved out pineapple! I don't usually love fajitas, but this was amazing. My husband got an amazing dish served in a hot bowlmade of real lava rock, which was really cool! The guac was great too. One of the best Mexican restaurants I?ve been to! A great stop for a meal when you?re checking out mammoth cave nearby. The... staff was friendly and efficient. Our food came extremely fast on a busy weekday evening. Portions were huge, flavor wasphenomenal, great bang-for-your-buck prices, and service was excellent.
