We had a great experience at The Cass House! The rooms are clean and elegant. The Bijou Bakery on the property is incredible. 30... minutes to Paso Robles for wine tours. We highly recommend! Read more

If you're looking for a more high-brow eating experience in Cayucos without the high-brow price. The Cass house Diner is a great... place to go. I've never stayed at the bed-and-breakfast part of it. So I couldn't tell you what that experience is like. But itis a beautiful restoration Read more

The restaurant I'd planned to go to was closed for some reason, so I strolled down the street to the Cass House. Boy, am I glad... I did. Short version: Great service and terrific farm-to-table food. Long version: Generally, as a woman traveling alone, I'maccustomed to receiving poor service, even in nice restaurants. I think there is a bias that goes with the assumption thatwomen, especially older women, don't tip well. (I do; all my kids worked in food services growing up.) At Cass House, my serverwas terrific--quick, helpful, giving recommendations when asked for them but not pushy. She helped select the perfect wine aswell. My food was to-die-for delicious. As a vegetarian, I sometimes struggle to find just the right menu item. The Cass Housemenu had plenty of choices for me, and with my server's suggestion, I decided on the roasted cauliflower. Oh my goodness! It wasperfectly cooked with toasted almonds and sesame seeds, plated in a pool of delicious yogurt and covered with a pomegranatevinaigrette that was out of this world. I seriously cannot wait to return--and I live hundreds of miles away. Next trip up theCentral Coast, though, I'll be stopping at Cass House for sure. Read more

Such good, clean food. You feel lighter after eating it in the sparkling Central Coast light. The open-walled restaurant allows... in all the breeze so you might want to bring a light jacket, but it is such an enjoyable dining experience. Read more

This review is for the grill, we did not stay at the b&b. We just had wine and tappas which were quite good. Didn't feel like... the server at the bar was familiar with the wines he was serving. Overall the service and atmosphere were great. Read more

Food was really good. Definitely get the scallops. Large wine selection. Very limited beer selection and no liquor. Outdoor... dining is very nice but can be quite cold at night. Bring a jacket or try to sit next to a gas heater. Read more

Cass House Grill in Cayucos is a fairly new restaurant for this little beach town. They just opened in June of this year. The... food is great and the atmosphere low key. It's outdoor seating in their pavilion but it's sheltered enough and there are heatersabove all of the entrances so you will not be cold. The food is served family style. Each of the dishes are large enough to feed2 people. I picked 3 items and had them brought out in courses. It's all locally sourced in Cayucos and the other surroundingtowns. They also have a vegetable garden on site. They also have a bakery on site that makes all of their desserts and bakedgoods for breakfast. This was a pleasant surprise during my weekend stay and I will definitely be coming back! If your arelooking for something a little nicer for dinner, this is the place try. Read more

Overall an outstanding restaurant. Attentive and knowledgeable waiters and just as good in the kitchen. It's a prix-fix menu... and as most of the 4 courses had 2 choices we pretty much tasted everything. We didn't get any of the optional courses (slicedmeat and also cheese) as unless you're a professional eater you'll be done after the 4th course for sure. Highlights for us wasthe Melon appetizer (various melons with crackers and shaved feta), the fennel bread, and both desserts. None of the coursesdisappointed and would highly recommend. Read more
