It was poor weather (cold, rainy, windy), but staff was very nice and food order was pretty good. Friend had the Ahi rolls, and... I had the steamed clams. Clams were fresh, tasty but broth was over salted, and Pico de gallo on top didn't go with the broth,but all was fresh. And the steamed clams were a perfect dish to warm up! We stopped by for appetizers and a late lunch. We at first sat outside but the rain came in and were quickly accommodated in the... bar area. The place is one of those that you remember with lots of funky decorations and plenty of atmosphere. It's located onthe waterfront with decent views of the Pacific and a good bit of outdoor seating. I'm so glad I stopped by this place thanks to suggestion from my airbnb host at paso Robles. Friendly staff, but most... importantly amazing heap of calamari! And sweet potato fries to perfection. Also they all homemade sauces (except ketchup). Thethai peanut sauce with a slight kick was the bomb! Read more
The fish and chips were pretty good but the clam chowder was amazing. It was so flavorful and there was so much clam bits in it.... I wish I had ordered more than a cup. My sister even liked it. The place is walking distance from the beach. We were veryhungry. Read more
We enjoyed a nice sunset appetizer meal of steamed clams and nachos. The food was good, although some real bread to sop up the... clam juice whould have been better than the flat bread, and the beer was cold. The building is a little confusing and no one wasabout so we just wandered upstairs and picked a spot just in time for the show. Read more
