Got a bunch of stuff and it was all flavorful and delicious. Lengua and asada was cooked well. Loved all the little extra sauces... and veggies they had. Roasted jalapeños were fire! Okay, for what it is, it really isn?t a bad joint. It?s like a nicer more authentic feeling than a Beto?s or Rancherito?s. They... had multiple different sauces that I?d hope are homemade, and the carrots that kick too. I noticed they are open every day, andlate as well, they would be good for a hungover or late night eat. I got the mini tacos and they weren?t phenomenal but for theprice I will go again. Read more
I was so hungry when we got to Tacos El Jefe, I ordered Carne Asada Fries to share and the Carnitas Plate! We also ordered... several Carnitas Burritos. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The salsa options are also great. I loved the carrots,onions, jalapeños, and radishes too! The service was friendly and fast and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We willdefinitely go back. This place was recommended to us so as we passed through Cedar City we decided to stop. The staff are friendly and the... establishment was clean and delightfully decorated and it is located just 2 minutes from the interstate. The food is cookedfresh and the service was fast. The portion size was generous which was exactly what we wanteded. They have a salsa counter tothe side with various types of sauces to choose from to accompany your meal. This salsa/sauce is for free. For a novice withregard to ordering Mexican take out food I really enjoyed it and would recommend Tacos El Jefe to anyone passing by Cedar City! Read more

Great value. Breakfast burrito is a lot of food for under $5! Update: 2 years after my first review I really wanted to come back... and give them 5 more stars. Food is SO good and a great value. Chimichanga and ham & egg burrito are my favorites. GO THERE!! Read more
