First thing I noticed when I received my Thai Chicken Salad was it looked like it had a lot of a fine powder on it. I commented... that "It looks like someone poured a bottle of seasoning on the salad." Well, it tasted just like that too. SUPER SALTY!Couldn't even eat a 1/4. The dressing that accompanied was really good flavoring but couldn't save the salad. Was hopefully theGreen Verde Chicken Ravioli would be better. The Ravioli themselves were good but the sauce was again super salty, even myhusband who likes salty didn't like. Stomach issues after don't know, maybe it they add MSG flavoring. Place was nice likerestaurant. Walk up counter to order and find then seat yourself. Staff was nice. Portion sizes were good, just notedible/enjoyable with that much salt. Read more

I love the new place, such an upgrade. My wife said the Thai salad was really good, but the star of lunch was the Bruschetta... Ravioli. I'd never heard of Bruschetta Ravioli, nor even conceived of it. That was short sided on my part. That ravioli was oneof the best pasta meals I've ever had. So good. Read more
I have always loved coming here for lunch. I've gone in long enough to see its changes over the years, and it's gone from a... tavern feel, to one that is more "homey" and brighter visually. Everything I've gotten here has generally been fantastic.Although it isn't here currently from what I've seen, their veggie burger is BOMB and current options like their salads aredelicious. Others with me who had sandwiches said they enjoyed their meal as well. Some of their bakery options like theircarrot cake were moist and yummy, but still left me with more to be desired, especially with how expensive those canbe. Overall, a great place to go with friends and family and eat some food that makes you feel happy inside. Read more
Super disappointed. I use to come to pastry pub all the time I had heard the ownership had changed and was a little hesitant to... go but decided to give it a try for myself. This was the first time I had been to the restaurant and it was not busy and I?msure I now know why. The prices have almost doubled and the portion sizes have gotten smaller. The pesto sauce is now gone. Theherb sauce is not the same. The croissants used to be so fresh and flaky now they are dense, old, and taste store bought. Mysandwich had almost no meat, a very small piece of thin lettuce and about two slices of the thinnest cuts of onion. My salad wasnot the same and definitely was not the same quality ingredients that were once used. About $15 for half a sandwich with littleinside and a small half salad it was just not it. I?m confused why they would keep the name of a city favorite and make so manychanges to the menu, ingredients, quality, and especially at a higher price point. I?m sure the new owners are lovely people andI wouldn?t have even left a poor review if they were a whole new restaurant with a different name, but unfortunately I nowunderstand why so many people have said they won?t be back.
