I haven't been here in quite a few years, but wanted to take a friend to a nice relaxing lunch the Firewheel Cafe, only to find... out that they do not do lunch anymore. So we went to the alternative, the Barrelhouse Bar. I will state right up front thatthe food was excellent. The brisket sandwich was delicious and the french fries are some of the best I've ever had. Dessertswere good also, coffee was excellent. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. We were seated for about 10 minutesbefore anyone said a word to us. Drinks; ice tea and coffee, took another 10 minutes. My coffee was served to me in a GO CUP. A GO CUP! I had to ask for a real cup. I had to ask again for sugar and again for a spoon when she did not bring one with thecoffee cup. And finally, no pen came with the check; I had to go to the bar to ask for a pen. This restaurant at Hyatt lost pines has the right proximity to the pool, smores parties, lobby and lawn movies!!! The food and... drinks perfectly compliment adults and families taste buds. Read more
Wait staff was wonderful! The queso, kids grilled z & wings were great...BUT, the brisket sandwich was HORRIBLE! There was some... sort of spice all over it that made it spicy, sour and unappetizing (and I love spicy). Also, the buffalo sauce did not tastegood (luckily, the bartender recommended it on the side). Lastly, the Fried Avacado (breading) is flavorless. It was verydisappointing. Great bar drinks. Open after the pool bars close, but you have to go get them and bring them back. To go food is packaged well... for taking to pool. Good kids menu too. Brisket tacos were my favorite. Read more
The food was... Alright to say the least. I mean it was good. But you'd expect it to lean on the "better" side given how... expensive it is. We ordered 3 items and the bill came out to be about $40 which is not that bad, but the food could definitelyuse some improvement. Read more
We live in Cedar Creek and enjoy stopping by Sheller's and other restaurants at the Hyatt for dinner occasionally and taking a... walk around the property. Read more
Great chicken wings and tortilla soup! VERY loud when full! We moved outside to eat. A great place to end the day.
