We normally don't go out for burgers but we have driven by here lots of times and decided to try it. I had a regular... cheeseburger loaded and partner had green chili cheeseburger. They did not disappoint! They were delish and juicy. The place wasbusy at 2:30 in the afternoon. Can't blame them for closing at 4pm. They are very friendly. This is the type of burger place that I?m looking for when I travel across the country on my motorcycle. And I shady spot to... park the people were friendly the place was busy but I only had to wait about five minutes for my burger. The owner came out andasked if I would try a new type of bun making it clear that they?re always trying to make the food better and they did notdisappoint. My double bacon green chili cheeseburger was on fire. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection and one of thecustomers loves the business so much that he sitting at the counter taking orders to speed things along. It was nice to seeyoung people working behind the counter with wise leader ship and an owner that takes true ownership of her business. She saidher mother is 97 years old and still works in the business. Bad food here for the first time ever. I've enjoyed Burger Boy for 8 years, and take (took) every out of town visitor there, but... if today had been my first time, I'd never go back. Please see the photo of the fries I was served 6/16/22. They're not theusual fries, and they're from at least two batches, one burnt and one still partly frozen... like old, cold steak-cut friespulled from the bottom of a Walmart display freezer. One of the best burger places in the East mountain area, especially if you're just passing through on a little day trip to... Sandia Peak. Super good food, laid back environment with outdoor seating during nice weather, and awesome staff. Prices aregreat for the quality of fresh made food! Read more
Burger Boy has very friendly employees which made it a very nice dining experience for me! They also have a great Burger with a... freshly rolled patty that has no additives from what I understand... the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because thetables are kind of tight in the dining room area, other than that I strongly recommend if you have not tried this place! Old school diner experience where everything is cooked not reheated in a microwave. Even the buns are toasted on the grill.... Lastly there?s chocolate malt shakes and homemade desserts available as well. If your in the area it?s worth a stop. Read more
Great place to stop for breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff and quick service even on a warm Sunday afternoon with a big crowd.... Our order was ready in about ten minutes and exactly what we expected. We really enjoyed the green chili cheese burger. Plentyof indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing food and lovely staff. The fries were hot and crispy and perfect, and the burger was so juicy my bun was getting soggy.... The shake was thick and delicious. There was a slightly long wait, but we were there at the busiest time, so it was expected. Read more
