I was not impressed. Our orders came out one by one and our order of fries were delivered extremely late. So late they were... delivered while we paid for our food. Not once were we offered an apology. There were only 3 or 4 tables of clients so it?s notlike the kitchen was backed up. The food wasn?t special, it was OK if you enjoy fried food. I think I would prefer this foodafter midnight on a weekend, not lunch or dinner. Read more

Really wanted to like the food here because I'm a huge dumpling fan. We ordered a whole spread to try a variety (Mongolian Beef,... Mac N' Cheese, Crab Rangoon, Taco, Pierogies) but they were all kind of flavorless. The service was awesome and it all came outreally fast, but the food quality just didn't seem worth the money. The dessert was the best part but it still needed somethingmore. Read more

I travel for work and am in town about once a month - very excited to find a new dining option within walking (stumbling)... distance of my hotel! I know absolutely nothing about dumplings so thankfully Daniel was behind the bar with some helpfulsuggestions. I went rogue and ordered the Spicy Tuna (pictured) first which were absolutely delicious on their own, even betterwhen dipped in the accompanying sauce. For my second round I relied on Daniel's expertise and went for the Pierogi - excellentpan fried! Great flavor with the right amount of potato to fill them up but not make you feel overstuffed. As not a beerdrinker I was delighted to find cocktail options on the menu at an establishment with "taphouse" right in the name, a couplewhiskey sours were the perfect complement to my meal. I love the option to order from the online menu if feeling less thansocial, or directly with the staff, or any combination there of. I felt perfectly comfortable as a woman traveling alone andwould not hesitate to bring my family here. Very fun, comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be back! Read more

The Dong Po Pork was VERY good! The texture scared me at first but it's delicious! The pork and sauerkraut dumplings were pretty... good as well as the mac n cheese dumplings. The Mongolian beef dumplings were not for us. Kind of had a bean texture. Niceenvironment and friendly staff. Read more

Opening night, we had 6 adults and 3 kids in our group. I don't know how they managed to keep up with our orders as we are a... relatively high maintenance group. Food was amazing, Toppling Goliath on tap is always sure to provide satisfaction. Perfectmedium size setup, we can't wait to get back and try the remaining dumplings we didn't have time for. I can guarantee you won'tfind better dumplings in Iowa. When in doubt go pan seared. A Must visit in the Cedar Falls area. Read more

Upon our arrival, we were pleased that the business had their own parking lot and that we didn?t need to pay for parking. Going... in, it was a pleasant atmosphere. Sitting down was different, as my chair leaned all the way back to where I almost fell out ofit. Apparently the chair was not supposed to do that, and the waitress helped me with a new chair. The music was hit and miss, playing newer music. Some music was pleasant, other music was annoying. The chairs weren?t the most comfortable, and neitherwere the tables. I asked for a beer menu, and I was very happy to see the cheap prices for their beer on tap. Toppling Goliathis one of the top breweries IN THE WORLD. And a 20 oz Dorothy?s for $6 is not beatable. $5 for a 16 oz Pseudo Sue or Dorothy?sis also not beatable. My husband ordered a rice bowl and I ordered pork, corn, and kale dumplings. Upon unraveling oursilverware from the napkins, we were pleased to find beautiful chopsticks to enjoy our meal with. Our food was deliveredextremely fast. My husband loved his rice bowl, however, my deep fried dumplings were cold in the middle. I informed ourwaitress who gladly brought the dish back to the kitchen and brought us new dumplings to eat. However, the new dumplings werearguably even COLDER in the middle than the last ones. The waitress took them back again and recommended to pan fry them insteadof deep frying them. I accepted, and she brought back warmer dumplings. The dumplings themselves were very watery and do nothave a lot of flavor. The sauce was almost tasteless. I do not think they are worth the price, however our waitress gave us adiscounted price for the inconvenience. If I could offer some constructive criticism, I would suggest creating a better menu, one with appetizers. Beer and something like fried cheese curds or other ?bar food? would go a long way. The dumplings could beimproved with better sauces. The dumplings, I?m sorry, are not worth more than $1 a piece. Create a better menu, a Read more

Fun new place in downtown Cedar Falls. We enjoyed the dumplings and a nice selection of craft beer. The place is spacious but... not overwhelmingly large. There are some entertainment options like a big Lego area for kids as well as some mini basketballgames too. Service was speedy and pleasant. And the overall cost was reasonable. David?s will be a new entry in our regularrotation of local spots! Read more

Absolutely delicious! I have been wanting to try this place ever since the sign got hung up! I went on a Sunday evening and it... was a little bit busy. Regardless the staff were super kind, friendly and attentive. Their mobile ordering system is fantastic! You simply scan a QR code at your table, pick out what you want and that's that. You can re-order as much as you like too, andyou pay your bill right from your phone. I got the pierogi, pan fried, and it was amazing! The fries and the pineapple ciderwere delicious Would highly recommend coming here! Read more
