Went in to buy some cookies for my kids. I only had cash. So the girl behind the counter snottily said they didnt accept cash... and only accept cards. Then proceeded to say that cashless is the only acctable type of payment. I left the shop with no cookiesfor my ability to pay in cash and not bow to the credit card company for 20 bucks in cookies. Last night my boyfriend decided to order us a deluxe 6 pack to go since he had a doordash order and the delivery was in the same... neighborhood we live in. The woman working the shift last night said she?s gotta make more cookies, so we waited about 10minutes and when we got home we decided to split a cookie and both noticed the cookie was quite doughy and chewy, but thoughtmaybe it was just because it had taken us about 10 minutes after picking them up to get home and actually eat them. We go to cutopen another cookie and noticed that it looks undercooked, mooshy, and not how they usually look inside. Also noticed thechocolate chunks didn?t look like they had been melted and cooled, they just look like they were just barely warmed up. We eathere quite often, and everytime the cookies have been soft, fall apart soft almost, and have never had a chewy doughy texturewhen taking a bite. Anyways we wake up this morning feeling sick, spending 9 hours back and forth to the toilet. At about 5pm wecall and say something about the cookies and waking up making us sick. The employee over the phone said ?I know they?re fullycooked because I cooked them? and we said we will come in to show her the cookies. We get to the store and upon arrival within 2seconds of opening the box she immediately says ?nope those are cooked? ?I know because I cooked them? and we tell her to lookat the middles of them in both boxes and she ignores and grabs one half of the cookie and says ?see how it?s kinda crispy darkon the edges the cookie wouldn?t be cooked if it didn?t look like that. That?s how you know it?s cooked? and continued with ?wecook our cookies for 15 minutes I cooked those for 15 minutes I know they?re cooked? completely disregarding the middle of thecookie being undercooked and sent us on our way saying she knows they were cooked because she cooked them. Ordered a 6 pack of cookies and some strawberry milk that was never delivered. Website told me it had been delivered and thus I... spent 20 minutes walking around trying to find where they could have left the cookies. Got no text message or call saying it wasdelivered and only caught on that it was supposedly delivered by refreshing the tracker multiple times. Wasted a lot of my timeand never ended up getting cookies. Did get a refund after calling twice. Would not recommend. Read more
I?ve never reviewed anything but wow did I have a weird experience with insomnia tonight. Ordered 6 cookies for asap delivery.... Waited 2 hours and they still hadn?t come. Called the store, was on hold for several minutes. A very nice person answered thephone and then put me on hold again to check the order status. Was then told that my order was ready, but they were waiting onthe driver?20-30 more minutes. I wanted to cancel at this point, but they were super nice so I decided to wait. 30 minuteslater, about to call and cancel, got a text message that says my order is being sent through Uber?? Lol. Not sure if theirdriver up and quit or what. Probably won?t be ordering again but rated 2 stars for the kind employee on the phone, and thecookies were fine. Read more
