I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve never had an off- experience! I get the malai kofta with samosas and regular naan... everytime and it’s AMAZING hot and delicious everytime despite the recipes changing from time to time! Wish the chutney stillcame with the samosas but oh well they’re still great by themselves! Read more
Absolutely delighted to find this restaurant. Moved here over a year ago and thought there was no Indian food here. On top of... delicious food, and affordable prices the server was very friendly and recommended the carrot pudding which was not too sweetand very tasty. Definitely one of the most underrated restaurants in the CF-Waterloo area. If you’re looking to try authentic halal South... Asian food that’s not overpriced, this is the place! I assume they’ve had staffing problems over the past year or so, butthe owner is really nice and you can tell he’s trying his best! My personal favourites include their butter chicken andchicken handi. Try it with the garlic naan. This place needs more appreciation! Read more
I have had Indian/Pakistani food throughout the country and in Pacific islands. This place is legit and delicious, honestly some... of the best dishes I've had anywhere. Also, very easy online ordering. We had a huge order for 9 people and some extras forcamping left overs, only ran about $200 including the 20% tip. After I ordered online, I followed up with a quick call in torequest a later pickup. The Gentleman who answered checked the order over the phone and let me know what they were out of (onlyone dessert item), and was happy to schedule pickup for later. Food was ready as soon as we picked up. I will post our entireorder as a photo,. The only thing Personally probably would notget again is the cheesy naan,because I don't prefer cream cheesein anything. Kids loved it. He gave us exxtra rice and it was so so so much good food. We drove from cedar rapids to Waterloo for this Pakistani cuisine restaurant as per the reviews on the google. We really... disappointed with the food and service. Almost waited 45 minutes to get the food and we ordered combination platter with chickenbiriyani and a garlic naan. Ordered the boneless lamb masala. Got bone in which is fine but it had hair in it. A lot of hair like the meat wasn't cleaned... properly. I also ordered buttered chicken and found a metal shaving in it. Now I am concerned I consumed some. That's not evensafe. This place should be shut down. I don't think I will eat Indian food again ever. This was our first time and they Clearlydon't know how to safely prepare food. Thankfully I my kids hadn't eaten any before I realized.
