Really used to love this place. Has just really gone down hill in terms of food quality. Staff is always nice and... accommodating but food always tastes like it has been sitting under a warmer. Never fresh! Nacho chips tasted stale, chickenstrips were tough. They always used to be the best anywhere! Ordered the Red Velvet cake and they brought out a silly littlered velvet cupcake looking thing?horrible! And twice the price it should have been. There was twice as much frosting and somevanilla bean topping then there was cake. Don?t advertise red velvet cake and then bring this sad thing out. Really used tolove this place. I?m done! My server was brand new, however she did amazing! She got my order correct. And she was very friendly and smiled, which is rare... these days. My food was done quickly and was good. I had cheese curds with their homemade ranch. It was good. I also had stripsand shrimp, which came with fries. Shrimp was very good and the strips were decent sized. That came with their homemade honeymustard which was amazing. The root beer float was an awesome way to end my meal. It was HUGE for $3.50! Definitely recommendthis place. Read more
Quickly seated. Table felt sticky so had it wiped down. It was actually the finish had worn off making it feel that way. Beer... was good-had the Mango Cart. Had the Hall of Fame burger. Nothing special, kinda bland. Server was really nice...but....overlyapologetic for the extremely slow time the food took to come out. I did notice she spent a lot of time at a table with peopleshe obviously knew and another server finally brought out our dinners. Fries and burger were warm so had been sitting a while.If you suggest something that is not on the menu(upsale) you should at least tell people especially if you charge extra for acondiment. Our waitress was amazing. This is the first time we have tried peppers grill and sports pub in Cedar Falls Iowa. I got the pick... two which was great. The tilapia and ribs are very tasty. My husband had the teriyaki chicken and really enjoyed it too. I wouldalso recommend the coleslaw. Read more
Great environment for watching sports. Lots of TVs with a big bar and lots of seating. They have upstairs seating for even... additional people so overall great environment. We tried the chicken strip basket that they are known for. I would say it wasjust okay the honey mustard was a bit runny and couldn't taste much mustard.
