I have changed my mind, Rialto is the better dining center. The ever-present taco/nacho bar with queso? The pizza that is always... better? Their sandwiches, burgers, and fries? The vegan and food allergy options? The bar in middle that has quesadillas andsushi bowls and stuff? All delicious and better than Piazza. With my first semester at UNI and being here during COVID, I am very disappointed. They are not understanding at all regarding... many different issues. They also don't provide many options for food for the amount we are paying for. Very disappointing andthe worst down fall with UNI. Read more

Tasty college food. Definitely beats eating ramen everyday! They are taking COVID-19 very seriously.

Awesome all you can eat food.

Food was great and atmosphere was awesome. The fresh juice machine was so awesome. I was very impressed.

Everyone on the North side of campus agrees that Rialto is the better dining location (despite South-siders' repeated assertion... that their Piazza is better). The arguments are somewhat musty, as the differences are largely opinion based, and the food atboth locations is nearly identical, but I will give a brief treatment here of the salient features. Piazza is larger, yetusually more crowded, with a greater feeling of congestion around the food. Rialto has all of the seating in one area, and allof the food along the North wall. Piazza has the stir fry/Eastern cuisine section lacking in Rialto. Rialto has theever-changing grill station, serving crepes and omelets to order, for example. Rialto boats the cozy "Farmers Market Parlour",with lounge seating. Piazza has more booths. Rialto is more tastefully decorated. That said, Piazza is known for theover-the-top transformation which takes place at Halloween each year, turning the dining center into a walking nightmare for twonights each year But the food at both is objectively the best of Iowa's public schools.
