Great food and great service, very attentive servers. Ordered a side of three pancakes for $3.99, but if I wanted I could have... gotten one large pancake for $2.29. Always good, definitely recommend. Read more

I don't what's happened to this Village Inn. They used to be the best one in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. The remodel was... nice, but the food quality has gone way down while the prices have gone way up. The pies are good, but they're hardly madefresh every day. I don't call coming on a truck frozen and then baked "made fresh". Perkins now has the better pies AND betterfood. For the $30 we dropped here for supper, we should have went to Texas Roadhouse and got steaks. Read more

I really do hate to ding a place two stars for subpar service so I won?t. anymore it seems like all restaurants are shorthanded... either cooks or table service or all the above. Our waiter just wasn?t attentive. I Don?t have too high or snobby expectations. After we are seated we should see a server within a few minutes at least with some water. If we are sitting there for 10minutes unattended the poor service cycle has begun we know how the rest of the meal is probably going to go and it did. Firstwhat is the host doing when we are still sitting there with menus in plain sight and obviously unattended? If they are therejust to seat people they are overpaid. so as usual though the service didn?t live up to the food which was very good. I got askillet and my wife got crepes. Both were very good as were the pancakes. Again though we had to flag down the waiter to get ourcheck after only being checked on initially and not once after we got our food. Good food, so-so service overall. Read more

Ordered a kids meal ($5.29). The pancakes were so small, had to order an adult sized one to make up for the lack of pancakes... which should have been served with the original meal, which cost $4.99 for a single pancake. When asked how our meal was, Iresponded with disappointing. They didn?t care and continued to process the bill. They do not care about the food or servicethey are putting out here. In a time when people are watching where they are spending their money? don?t go here. Read more

As I get older I need to work harder at staying in shape. One of the many things I do is go to the gym regularly and eat in a... way to look and feel my best. Plenty of protein with eggs, complex carbs with oat meal and antioxidants with fruit ????at TheVillage in keep me on ???? target Read more

The portion sizes are on the smaller side, but that may be the only downside to this amazing restaurant. They have a great... amount of space if you want to bring a big group, breakfast all day, and they have pies to take home or you can ask for just aslice after your meal. I really enjoyed it here and the sausage links are the best! Read more

We tried the village in in Cedar Falls for the first time today and we're not disappointed. The lady that greeted us at the door... was very nice and our waiter didn't awesome job. I would suggest the country music star omelet it comes with hash browns andpancakes! We will definitely be back! Read more
